Kohji Kanazawa

After graduating from art school, he exhibited at public exhibitions and competitions. He has held numerous solo exhibitions in his hometown of Toyama. At the age of 40, he established an atelier in the mountains of Uozu, Toyama, where he has been immersed in creation. Inspired by the rich nature and flowers, he creates new paintings with themes of love for nature and humanity.

彼は美大を出た後、公募展やコンペティションに出展。数多くの個展を、地元・富山で開催してきた。40歳の時に富山県魚津の山間にアトリエを設け、創作に没頭してきた。豊かな自然や花々に感化され、自然、人間への愛をテーマに、新しい絵画を創造している。

Rika Hanzawa

He has studied indigo dyeing in the Edo period (more than 300 years ago) and has reprinted the technique to make kimonos and obis.
Because this technique uses a living plant called "indigo," it can only be produced for a limited period of time during the year. The dyeing process takes about one month to complete, and if the pre- and post-dyeing processes are included, the production takes three to four months.
He is also inspired by the climate of northern Japan (Iwate) under the theme of "expressing creative energy. In Dubai, he wants to show "the origin of Japan" rather than something special. A documentary film featuring him has been made and will be released in Japan this summer.

彼は江戸時代（300年以上前）の藍染を研究し、その技法を復刻して着物や帯などを作っている。
この技法では生きている植物の「藍」を使うため、年間のうち制作できる期間が限られている。約1カ月間でまとめて染め、その前後の工程を含めると3～4カ月で制作することになる。
彼は「クリエイティブなエネルギーを表す」をテーマに、北日本（岩手）の風土にもインスピレーションを受けている。ドバイでは、特別なものではなく「日本の原点」を見せたいと考えている。彼を取り上げたドキュメンタリー映画が作られ、この夏に日本でも公開される予定だ。

Toshio Yamamura

Born in 1957, he was involved in a number of stage productions in his early twenties, and from around his thirties onwards he began to present works, mainly in solo exhibitions, in search of his own expression, establishing his own unique world view. In particular, his presentation of works at the site of an underground Oya Stone quarry had a major impact on his later work. Currently based in Toyama Prefecture, he continues to present his work several times a year.
"Tenpyo" is a work based on a longing for the religion brought to Japan from the West by ancient trade and the culture of the time that sublimated it into art, scooping up the moment of life and death.

1957年生まれ。20代の初めに数多くの舞台美術に関わったのち、30代から個展を中心に自分の表現を模索した作品発表を行い、独自の世界観を確立した。特に、大谷石の地下採石場跡地における作品発表は、その後の作品制作に大きな影響を与えた。現在は富山県を拠点に、年数回作品発表を続けている。
「天平」は、古代貿易によって西方から日本にもたらされた宗教と、それを芸術に昇華した当時の文化への憧憬をベースに、生々流転する一瞬をすくい上げた作品である。

Ceramic Artist S***a Miyash*ta

With glazes created through original research, including precise weight mixing and temperature-controlled firing, he handles a broad range of works and products. In 2022, he launched the product "HINOMIYA," which reinterprets the mass production techniques of Mino ware (Minoyaki) from an artist's perspective as a "technique." The following year, he initiated the project "G-E-N" to bring new value to Minoyaki, acting as a bridge between artists and industry. He is a new era ceramic artist, handling collaborations across various genres, planning, and directing stores and architecture.

0.001gに及ぶ調合、1℃単位の焼成等の独自研究にて生み出した釉薬を武器に、幅広い作品、プロダクトを手掛けている。
2022年、根幹となっている美濃焼の量産技術を芸術家の視点から「技法」として捉え、アップデートしたプロダクト「HINOMIYA」を発足。
翌年、美濃焼に新しい価値を提供するプロジェクト「G-E-N」を発足し、アーティストと産業の架け橋となっている。
多岐に渡るジャンルとのコラボレーションや企画、店舗や建築のディレクションも手掛ける​、新時代の陶芸家だ。

She began her art activities in 2019 through self-study, and after hosting her own workshops and online remote solo exhibitions, she now delivers her work on everything from personal orders to store murals and corporate commissions. Since 2023, she has been participating in joint exhibitions abroad (LA, San Francisco, Yokohama, Kanazawa, Hanoi) and is expanding her activities globally. Themed on "life" given by the universe, she depicts the spirit residing in all things in yin and yang (black and white), connecting the Japanese Yamato spirit with native spirits from various locations.

彼女は2019年に独学でアート活動を開始し、自主開催のワークショップやオンラインリモート個展を経て、個人オーダーから店舗壁画、企業からの発注に至るまで、作品を納入している。2023年からは国内外を問わず、海外の合同展（LA・サンフランシスコ・横浜・金沢・ハノイ）に参画し、世界に活動の幅を広げている。宇宙から与えられた「生命」をテーマに、すべてのものに宿るスピリットを陰陽（白黒）で描き、日本の倭魂と各地のネイティブスピリットを繋げている。

After encountering essential oils due to illness, she studied in the UK, the home of essential oils, away from her busy work environment in Tokyo. Touched by the rich environment where people coexist with animals and plants, she returned to Japan inspired by this humane way of life. She now incorporates the energy of essential oils into her oil paintings with themes of animal life and plants, creating and presenting her work guided by the vibrations of music. Furthermore, with the publication of her picture book, she is challenging herself to expand her expressive range.

彼女は病気をきっかけに精油に出会い、東京の多忙な仕事環境から離れて精油の本場であるイギリスへ留学した。滞在中に人々が動物や植物と共存する豊かな環境に触れ、その人間らしい暮らしに刺激を受け、日本に帰国した後は、動物の命の尊さや植物をテーマに精油のエネルギーを油絵に取り入れ、音楽の波動に導かれながら絵を制作発表している。さらに、今回の絵本出版を機に表現の幅を広げる活動に挑戦している。
