"En un mundo lleno de juicios rápidos y constante presión para "arreglar" todo, las palabras de Vincent nos recuerdan que la vida está llena de misterio - y eso es okay . Tal vez no necesitamos todas las respuestas en este momento. Sé amable contigo mismo. Ten paciencia. Mantente abierto." 💙
Let’s sit with these thoughts for a moment 💬 ‘We know so little about life that we’re not really in a position to judge between good and bad, just or unjust, and to say that one is unhappy because one suffers hasn’t been proved. […] So take it as it is, wait with confidence and possess your soul with a long patience as an old saying has it, and with good will. Let nature take its course’, Vincent wrote this to his brother Theo in 1889. Theo had shared his concerns with Vincent: his wife Jo was pregnant and neither of them was in good health. Theo wondered whether it was the right time to have a child. Vincent gave him this sound advice.
In a world full of quick judgements and constant pressure to ‘fix’ everything, Vincent’s words remind us that life is full of mystery – and that’s okay. Maybe we don’t need all the answers right now. Be gentle with yourself. Have patience. Stay open-hearted.
