I want to take a moment to say thank you

To everyone who has bought the book
shared it
recommended it
or simply supported what we’re doing here

Every single one of those actions matters more than you probably realise

Because it’s not just about a book or a Tshirt

It’s about continuing a conversation that a lot of people are still finding hard to have
It’s about helping someone feel seen in a moment they might otherwise feel completely alone

And it’s about creating something meaningful from a space that once felt impossible to navigate

What you’re supporting through Krysten’s Peace Project goes beyond one person, one story, or one moment

It reaches into places you may never even see

And that matters

So truly, thank you from my heart ❤️🌈❤️

TOL SUPPORTER SPOTLIGHT:

This week we are shining the spotlight on Leanne Farnden

Leanne has been quietly and consistently supporting TOL since she tragically lost her daughter Kyrsten 6 years ago to su***de.

Through Leanne’s immeasurable grief she has found strength and purpose through sharing both Krysten and her own stories.

We were blessed to have been able to hear Leanne’s story as part of the Check In Not Out Adelaide Fringe shows and it’s a story that will stay with us forever.

Most recently, Leanne has donated all of her profits from the sale of her book at the Fringe back to TOL by purchasing all of the non-perishable food and supplies needed in the kitchen for camp next week which is an enormous help to TOL and everyone experiencing camp whether it’s their first camp or they are returning again.

Leanne, from the bottom of our hearts we thank you! We thank you for sharing yours and Krysten’s story and we thank you for your unwavering support to TOL!

To purchase Leanne’s book and see more head over to - https://krystenspeaceproject.org

Much love Leanne, from everyone at TOL 💙💚

Last night at Fringe… something powerful happened that I was part of…

Not a performance or a polished show

Just real people telling the truth about what it’s like to be human

Stories of grief
Stories of survival
Stories that don’t usually get said out loud

And something shifted in the room

Walls dropped
Judgement disappeared
And for a moment… strangers became people who understood each other

Because behind every statistic… is a person, a family and a story that deserves to be heard

This is what Krysten’s Peace Project stands for

Creating space
Encouraging honest conversations
And reminding people they are not alone in what they’re carrying

Last night wasn’t about having answers
It was about being heard, my story giving some people courage to share theirs and sometimes… that’s the moment things don’t feel quite so heavy.

Thankyou from for this opportunity ❤️

Looking through this book reminds me of how big she was in so many of your lives ❤️

She was someone’s best friend
someone’s travel buddy
someone’s partner in laughter… and in a little bit of skulduggery!

To all the people who loved her in your own way… thank you

Every photo, every story, every memory adds another piece to who she was

And I’m grateful for every one of them
and every one of you

Be sure to give her a cheers today…
maybe a wine in a coffee mug 😉

Five years ago, after we lost Krysten, I went searching for a way to keep her spirit alive in the world.

That search became Krysten’s Peace Project.

Somewhere along the way, the story behind it all found its way onto paper… notes in my phone… and plenty of stop-starts on my computer.

The Unfiltered Rawness of a Mother’s Grief isn’t a guide to grief. It’s simply my honest account of what life looked like after losing my daughter.

Along the way, a few of Krysten’s friends and some of the beautiful people in this community also shared their words and memories, which now sit inside the pages of the book.

Because Krysten’s story was never just mine to hold.

Everything we’ve created through KPP has come from that same place.

Thank you to everyone who has walked beside us on this journey ❤️🌈❤️

If you feel called to read it, I’ll share the link in the comments, for anyone who might want to understand a little more about love, loss, and what life has looked like since we lost Krysten.

I shared something a little personal over on my own page today

It’s something I’ve been slowly working on for a long time and I think I’m finally ready for people to see it

I’ll talk about it properly here very soon 🌈❤️🌈

After the last few days and seeing Krysten’s Tshirts out in the world, I found myself reflecting…

For a long time Krysten’s Peace Project was about one thing in my heart
making sure her story kept doing good in the world

The Tshirts
the hoodies etc
the conversations
the support we’ve been able to give

As a coping mechanism particularly the last 6 years I found myself writing notes and remembering things that worked to steady my own thoughts and life.

Eventually they’ve become workbooks, journals, the peace jar, and the other things you now see

Some of you I’m sure
carry things quietly

-grief
-anxiety
-overwhelm
or just feeling a bit stuck in life

That’s how Happy Stuff began

Happy Stuff isn’t about pretending to be positive
It’s support when you’re struggling, and gentle perspective when you feel ready for more

It sits alongside Krysten’s Peace Project
her legacy helping the world outwardly,
and these tools helping in a quieter, more personal way

I’d love you to follow as well as here

Thanks for support as always 🤍

I’ve quietly held this dream for a long time… that Krysten’s art might one day be out in the world, not just with us, but somewhere people could actually see it and wear it.

Thursday Tracy introduced me to Joe at Cibo in Gawler and said,
“Leanne has some T-shirts that have a story.”

He asked me to tell him.

I said I lost my daughter in 2020 to su***de… and that I’d found her drawings in her journals and brought them to life on shirts.

I barely got the words out before he stopped me and said —

“Bring them in.”

Today they’re sitting in a real store 😱

Sometimes you don’t force doors open… sometimes someone simply hears the heart behind it and opens one for you 🤍

✨ Something New and Exciting to share ✨

You might’ve noticed it’s been a little quiet here lately…

That’s not because Krysten’s story has faded. It’s because it’s been growing.

Behind the scenes, something has been taking shape. Something Ive wanted to create for a long time… and spent many hours and tears building.

A new space. A new chapter.
Still inspired by Krysten.
Still grounded in truth, creativity, and the courage to feel it all.

It’s called Happy Stuff…
Not the pretend kind.
Not toxic positivity.
The real kind — for messy humans with big feelings and brave hearts.

This new site is filled with raw, real tools to help people feel, heal, and not fake it.
A Level Up Workbook, A Journal. A Colouring/Doodle book. Emotional reset kits and more

All printable. All heartfelt. All created with Krysten’s fierce, rebellious, beautiful energy at the core.

This isn’t goodbye to Krysten’s Peace Project… not by a long shot, it’s her legacy, expanding.

Because the world needs more tools. More honesty. And more spaces where grief, rage, and joy can all sit at the same table.

👇 You can visit Happy Stuff here:

And if you ever bought a T-Shirt, lit a candle, wore a hoodie, shared a post, or whispered Krysten’s name — thank you.
She mattered. She still matters.
And now, her story is helping others matter to themselves, too.

With love and truth
Mumma Leanne 💛
Ps
And yes all sales go through the Foundation to help with more projects

🖤 In Loving Memory: Five Years 🖤

It’s been five years since you left us, and though time has moved forward, my heart has stayed where you left it. The world has continued its endless rhythm, days passing into nights, seasons shifting, and life carrying on in its ceaseless way. Yet, in all that change, I still hold on to your memory, a memory that refuses to fade.

Five years is a long time, but it feels like just yesterday we were laughing, sharing moments that we thought would last forever. I remember the warmth of your presence, the sound of your voice, your laughter and the sparkle in your eyes. Those moments, those connections, are etched into my heart.

The pain of your loss is something that time does not simply heal. It transforms, it evolves, but it never truly goes away.

Alongside that pain is something else—a recognition of your worth, your life, and the impact you had on all of us.

We remember you, not just for the way you left, but for the way you lived. For the laughter you shared, the love you gave, and the memories that will never be forgotten. We honor your struggles, your victories, and everything that made you who you were.

Life goes on, and I’ve learnt to walk without you beside me, but I do so with the understanding that your light, in its quiet way, still shines.

I remember you not as a moment of pain, but as a person who mattered deeply to so many.
Love Mumma X
