এ কোন দুর্ভিক্ষ নয়, এ এক অসহায় সংকট। প্রতিনিয়ত নিত্যপ্রয়োজনীয় উপাত্তের যোগান দিতে হিমশিম খাচ্ছে অসংখ্য মানুষ। সবকিছুই যেন আওতার বাইরে চলে যাচ্ছে দিন দিন। খোরাকের সন্ধানে কারো চিৎকার ভেতরে আটকে যন্ত্রনায় পুড়ছে অন্তর, আবার কারো প্রচন্ড আর্তনাদের আহাজারি।
