“A rose is a rose, is a rose, is a rose".
I’m me, I’m me, I’m me.
This illustration was created as a cover concept for a children and young adult publication.
Inspired by Gertrude Stein’s famous phrase, the project explores identity, self-recognition, and affection in a poetic and accessible way.
The girl embracing a rose represents the act of recognizing oneself without comparison or hierarchy, simply being.
The stylized rose background reinforces repetition, rhythm, and the idea that uniqueness exists even within what seems the same.
This work focuses exclusively on the cover illustration, conceived as a visual invitation to a story about self-acceptance, tenderness, and imagination.
