There’s a moment every spring that I wait for—when the garden quietly begins to come back to life. After the stillness of winter, the first signs are small… a bit of colour returning, tiny blooms pushing through, the light changing through the trees. It always feels like a kind of awakening. 🌿
This painting came from that feeling. Not just the garden itself, but that sense of renewal—the quiet promise that something is starting again, and that more beauty is on its way.
I was so pleased that “New Beginnings” recently found its new home at the DVSA Annual Art Auction. It means a lot to know it connected with someone else. 💛

What a fantastic night at the DVSA Annual Art Auction! 🎨✨

So inspiring to be there with fellow artists Joachim Gmoser and Andrea Eby (Andrea’s Art Avengers), surrounded by so much incredible creativity—from pottery and fibre art to beautiful paintings.

And the best surprise… my painting “New Beginnings” (acrylic) SOLD and found its new home! I’m so grateful and thrilled 💛

Thank you to everyone who supports local artists—events like this truly matter. Already looking forward to next year!
