I have a touching story about this piece of art... it was created by Rick Bjerke, he regularly abandons art throughout and while on trips abroad. He abandoned this piece 2-3 years ago. He makes a point of paying his respects at this memorial every year. He sent me a similar photo to the one you shared the other day. Touching that this family found the abandoned art and has continued to keep it as a shrine to their fallen Carl Johnson. Over the years many artists joined Rick (at my studio) in participating in our on FB and IG.. it's been really neat seeing the responses to finding art and sharing their experience.
