Inca Vos has finished her painting of the Lone Pine Marsh Braham Nature Reserve and it will be one of our featured items in the Silent Auction at this year’s Gala!
Originally from the Netherlands, Inca has called Canada home since her twenties. Childhood visits to art museums with her father sparked her love of the arts, exposing her to the Dutch Masters and the Hague School. Early classes at the Stedelijk Museum in Schiedam helped shape her style, which now celebrates Ontario’s beauty from her own perspective.
Her work has been collected across North America, Europe, and Asia, offering collectors a window into uniquely Canadian art. Often found exploring Ontario’s backroads with paints in tow, she enjoys painting en plein air as well as working from her Durham Region studio. Inca creates with oils, acrylics, and watercolours, and also sketches in coloured pencils and pastels. This piece will be displayed in a donated frame by Quinte Art and Custom Frame in Trenton.
