Eleven Ten Studio is an artist-run gallery, exhibition and event space.

Swiss artist Claudia Roth (1955–2024) lived and worked in Basel, dedicating her life to painting and the quiet intensity of abstraction. For decades, her practice explored rhythm, layering, movement, and the emotional weight carried by color and gesture. Deeply connected to the Basel art scene, her works remained both restrained and profoundly human, resisting spectacle while insisting on presence.

ELEVEN TEN STUDIO is honored to present I’M WAITING TO BE SEEN, the first posthumous exhibition of Claudia Roth.

Opening reception: June 11, 2026, at 6pm
The exhibition will be open daily from June 15 to June 21, 2026, from 10am to 3pm, and by appointment.

Meet the artist: Kyryl Korin

Kyryl Korin (b. 2005) is a visual artist born and raised in Khmelnytskyi, a small city in Western Ukraine. Currently, based in Bern, he works and studies in Basel, Switzerland. His practice is rooted in a solid academic foundation in painting and drawing, which over time has developed beyond the traditional two-dimensional media.
Today Kyryl’s work is a blend between painting and sculpture, incorporating a diverse range of materials such as metal, wood, leather, fabric, and other. Each selected for its physical properties, symbolism and narrative potential.
Kyryl’s practice is mostly conceptual, often focusing on societal themes and contemporary culture. Through abstraction, symbolism, and metaphor, he seeks to evoke reflection and dialogue. His work invites the viewer to engage not only with its aesthetic qualities but also with the questions and problematics it raises.

This body of work explores harsh artificial light and direct flash. Drawing on an older digital aesthetic, these images embrace saturation, immediacy, and playful discovery. The flash both reveals and distorts, turning simple gestures into exaggerated, slightly humorous moments.
