Der Mondspaziergang während der historischen Mondlandung von Apollo 11 dauerte nur zwei Stunden und 31 Minuten. Doch Neil Armstrong und Buzz Aldrin hatten eine Menge zu tun, und die wissenschaftlichen Ergebnisse dieses kurzen Aufenthalts waren unermesslich. Denn wir haben zwar ein kleines Museum. Aber wir garantieren Ihnen grosse Geschichten und faszinierende Objekte. Lassen Sie sich überraschen! The moon walk during the historic Apollo 11 moon landing lasted just 2 hours and 31 minutes. Neither astronaut walked more than 55 metres away from the lunar module Eagle. But Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin had a lot to do, and the scientific results of this short stay were immeasurable. In our small museum, you won't be travelling long distances either. Because you will be moving around in an area of just 150 square metres. But we are sure that the size of the terrain – similar to Apollo 11 – will not detract from the experience. We may have a small museum. But we guarantee you great stories and fascinating objects. Let us surprise you! Please note: We are only open on selected weekends. The recent explosion of Blue Origin's New Glenn rocket during a routine test is a big setback for the private spaceflight company, and will likely have implications for NASA's Artemis program timeline and the nation's efforts to return astronauts to the surface of the moon.

The shockwaves from Thursday's explosion will reverberate all the way to the moon.

NASA is refining its plans for a permanent Moon base at the lunar south pole as the next major step of the Artemis program and as preparation for future Mars missions. Industry partners are being contracted to provide landers, rovers, and other infrastructure in order to gradually build a habitable and operational outpost. At the same time, NASA is discussing “safety zones” around the base to protect astronauts and equipment, which are framed as safety measures under space law rather than territorial claims.
