🎇Highlights from board trip 😍 We began the week with a sunset reception with Directeur Laurence des Cars on Tuesday, when the museum is closed.

1-2) Private tour followed by dinner. The palace is closed to the public as it is undergoing a major restoration. The notorious château was built when Marie Antoinette bet that her brother-in-law, Count
d’Artois, that he couldn’t build it in 100 days- he built in in 64! The palace was made to impress the ladies 😘

3) Living room of Gilles Demarteau, one of François Boucher's official engravers, asked Boucher to decorate it along with Jean-Honoré Fragonard and Jean-Baptiste Huet in 1795 . This room of follies remind us of Fragonard Rooms

7-9) Final Evening- Dinner at the and a surprise tour given by the US Ambassador of the private apartments-which most people never see!
