Après son succès à Tokyo, l’exposition « Beyond our Horizons » revient à 𝘭𝘢 Galerie 𝘥𝘶 19M Paris/Aubervilliers, du 29 janvier au 26 avril 2026.
 
🪡 Les onze Maisons d’art du 19M, Atelier Montex, Desrues, Goossens, Lemarié, Lesage, Lesage Intérieurs, Atelier Lognon, Massaro, Maison Michel, Paloma et Studio MTX, sont au cœur de cette exposition.
 
Une célébration du dialogue créatif entre artisans français et japonais, qui révèle de nombreuses œuvres et installations réalisées en collaboration avec les Maisons d’art. Pour cette édition parisienne, de nouveaux créateurs rejoignent l’exposition pour poursuivre ce dialogue.
 
🎏 « Beyond our Horizons » a été imaginée par un comité éditorial réunissant Momoko Ando, réalisatrice et responsable de Kinema Museum, Yoichi Nishio, rédacteur en chef de Casa BRUTUS, Shinichiro Ogata, fondateur et directeur artistique de SIMPLICITY, Kayo Tokuda, commissaire d’exposition et Aska Yamash*ta, directrice artistique d’Atelier Montex.

企画展”Beyond Our Horizons”

Beyond Our Horizonsの旅は、かつての職人や商人にとって店舗であり、住居であり、制作の場であり、そして交流の場でもあった、町家の風景から始まります。
3つの町家では、自然素材から生み出される織物、土、そして紙をテーマに、それぞれの素材に向き合い続けてきた日本の職人およびアーティストと、le19Mのアトリエが対話を重ねることで生まれた、まだ見ぬ素材の可能性を切り拓く試みを紹介します。アトリエが連なる通りから格子越しに垣間見える空間からは、創造を続ける対話の声と試行錯誤の音が聞こえるようです。

"Beyond Our Horizons"

The journey of Beyond Our Horizons begins in the landscape of machiyaーtraditional townhouses that once served as shops, residences, workshops, and centers of exchange for artisans and merchants.
Three machiya with elements of ateliers, each themed around natural materials: textiles, earth, and paper. These spaces showcase attempts to delve into the untapped potential of these materials, resulting from extensive dialogues with Ateliers of le19M, and Japanese artisans and artists, all of whom have long been dedicated to exploring them.
Standing on the street outside the atelier, one can almost hear the voices of creative dialogue and the echoes of experimentation drifting through the openings of Japanese wooden lattice door (kōshi-do).

“la Foret（フォレスト、森）”は、人々にとって未知の領域や試練の場として存在してきたと同時に、生命や精霊が宿る神聖な場です。道中に立ち並ぶのは、木桶の可能性を拡張し続ける職人、中川周士による樹々たち。Beyond Our Horizonsの会期中、東京の中心、52階、地上218メートルに束の間現れるクリエイションの森では、日々、大いなる自然と向き合いながら、創造の探究を続けるクリエイターたちの作品を紹介します。

"Beyond Our Horizons"

The forest has existed as a realm of the unknown: a place of tests and trials for people, and a sacred domain for life and spirits. Lining the path are trees crafted by Shuji Nakagawa, a master craftsman who even now innovates in the tradition of making oke, or wooden buckets. During Beyond Our Horizons, a Forest of Creation will briefly appear in the center of Tokyo, on the 52nd floor, 218 meters above ground. There, we will introduce work by creators who face the vastness of nature every day in their creative pursuits.

“la Galerie du 19M Tokyo”

Beyond Our Horizons（ビヨンド・アワ・ホライゾン）は、「パッサージュ」「アトリエ」「ランデブー」「フォレスト」「シアター」「マジック」から構成される職人の集落をテーマにした会場構成。

「le Rendez-vous（ランデブー）」と名付けられた集いの場は、Beyond Our Horizonsの象徴であり、数寄屋職人とle19Mに集うメゾンの職人たちが、共同して作り上げたものです。そこには、高度な手仕事を受け継ぐ、数寄屋職人とメティエダールの職人それぞれが、長い歴史の中で培った技術が息づき、細部に至るまで洗練された美が宿っています。その造形は、伝統と革新が響き合い、職人たちの研ぎ澄まされた感性と技術が息づく場所となっています。

"Beyond Our Horizons" features a spatial composition themed around a craftspeople’s creative village, consisting of six areas: “La Passage,” “Les Ateliers,” “Le Rendez-vous,” “La Forêt,” “ Le Théâtre,” and “La Magie.”

Titled le Rendez-vous, the Meeting House stands as a symbol of Beyond Our Horizons, a collaborative effort between the brilliant craftsmanship of sukiya artisans and those who gather at the ateliers of le19M. Within its walls, the exquisite craftsmanship of the sukiya and Metiers d’Art artisans is present, each inheriting a legacy of exceptional handwork, cultivated over a long history.
A refined beauty is imbued in every aspect, down to the smallest detail. Its form embodies the fusion of tradition and innovation, creating a space where the artisans’ refined sensibilities and expert techniques come to life.

9月30日より、六本木ヒルズ森タワー52階「東京シティビュー&森アーツセンターギャラリー」におきまして、日本とフランスのクラフツマンシップを紹介する展覧会“la Galerie du 19M Tokyo”が開催されております。

弊社の徳田佳世は、シャネルとle19Mと協働し、日本とフランスのクラフツマンシップ、そしてその背景にある文化や思想への深い理解を持つエディトリアル コミッティの一員として、安藤桃子氏、西尾洋一氏、緒方慎一郎氏、アスカ ヤマシタ氏とともに企画展示「Beyond Our Horizons」のキュレーションを担当いたしました。
また、橋詰隼弥は同展の会場デザインを手がけております。


会期は10月20日までの3週間です。
鑑賞は無料ですが、4歳以上の方は事前に日時指定のご予約が必要となります。

Starting September 30, on the 52nd floor of Roppongi Hills Mori Tower at Tokyo City View & Mori Arts Center Gallery, the exhibition “la Galerie du 19M Tokyo” will showcase the artisanship of France and Japan.  

Kayo Tokuda, in collaboration with CHANEL and le19M, has served as a member of the Editorial Committee—bringing a deep understanding of Japanese and French artisanship as well as the cultures and philosophies behind them—and co-curated the special exhibition “Beyond Our Horizons” together with Momoko Ando, Yoichi Nishio, Shinichiro Ogata, and Aska Yamash*ta.
In addition, Shunya Hashizume is responsible for the exhibition’s scenography. 


The exhibition will be on view for three weeks, until October 20. 
Admission is free, but visitors aged 4 and above are required to book a reservation for a specific date and time in advance.

感嘆とサプライズ、そして対話が生まれる空間として企画された la Galerie du 19M Tokyo（ラ ギャルリー デュ ディズヌフエム トーキョー）が、9月30日より東京シティビュー&森アーツセンターギャラリーにてスタートします。



日本とフランス、両文化が交差するなかで生まれる繊細な手仕事と創造のプロセスを映し出す本ティザー映像では、「Beyond Our Horizons」展に携わった職人たちの制作の瞬間を、彼らの手の動きや語りを通して、感情豊かに描いています。

映像には、アトリエ モンテックスのアーティスティック ディレクターであるアスカ ヤマシタ、小嶋商店の小嶋諒、かみ添の嘉戸浩、藤森工務店の植向祐治、中川木工芸の中川周士、そしてシノグラファーを務めた橋詰隼弥が登場し、それぞれが自身の手仕事に込めた想いや創造の源について語っています。

「CHANEL presents la Galerie du 19M Tokyo」開催

この度、パリ19区に2021年CHANELが設立したle19Mのクラフツマンシップを世界で初となる規模で紹介する企画展「CHANEL presents la Galerie du 19M Tokyo」が、2025年9月30日（火）より10月20日（月）まで、東京シティビュー＆森アーツセンターギャラリーにて開催されます。
　
本展は3章で構成されており、
WATER AND ARTは、日本とフランスの約30人の職人やアーティストによるコラボレーションの展示を行う「Beyond Our Horizons」展に携わらせていただいております。

宮ティーハウス｜版築ワークショップ


TOMORROWが推進するプロジェクト「あしたの畑」では、これからの食と暮らしに着目し、ユネスコでの持続可能な建築学教授に任命されている陶芸作家マーティン・ローチと建築家アンナ・ヘリンガー、 TOMORROWの共同制作による自然と共存する半屋外のアートインスタレーション「宮ティーハウス」の制作を計画しています。

5年目を迎える今年は、5つ目の展示空間となる「宮ティーハウス」を地域の土を使い、ワークショップ形式で１から手作りで完成させることを目指し、あたらしい“食とアートの場”をつくります。

ワークショップに参加していただくことで、地域の素材や伝統的な建築技術であり、地球に戻る土の建築ー版築を学び、地域社会や環境と調和するこれからの現代的な建築のあり方を考えるきっかけとなれば幸いです。

◾️参加条件
・期間中3日以上参加していただける方。
・参加費は必要ありません。
・現地までの交通費、宿泊費、現地での生活費と交通費は参加者の自己負担となります。
・宿泊場所の紹介をします（1泊素泊まり5,500円～、ご自身でご予約をお願いします。）
・8月25日（月）または9月7日（日）に開催するオンライン説明会にご参加ください。
・中学生と高校生の参加者は、保護者の同意が必要です。

◾️作業内容
・突き棒やハンマーなどで土を突き固めて版築の壁を作る。
・土と砂利を配合して材料を作る。
・型枠の準備、組み立て、解体。
・周囲の植栽の準備（整地、植樹）。
 
服装等
水に濡れたり汚れても良いシャツ・ズボン・帽子、タオル、軍手、動きやすい靴、飲料水をご準備の上、参加ください。

これからの暮らし、集落のかたち
― リジェネラティブな生活、アートが循環する間人 ―


このたびTOMORROWは、「リジェネラティブな生活（自然再生的な暮らし）」「アートが社会で循環すること」をテーマに、異なる世代や多様な分野の人々が交わる文化芸術活動のかたちを探る集落構想あしたの畑の夏期公開を開催します。

これからの「暮らし」や「集落」の可能性とは？
多様な視点と表現が交差する場で、人と人、人と自然、社会とアートの関係を見つめなおします。

夏期公開では、現代美術家 AAWAAとの左官、紙を用いた空間の提案となる「間人レジデンス」、秋期公開では、プロセスを公開予定の建築家 アンナ・へリンガーと陶芸家 マーティン・ローチとの「宮ティーハウス」の取り組みなど、土地の素材、様々な要素から未来を見つめる活動や作品をご紹介いたします。会期中にはワークショップなど交流の場もご用意しております。

日々の営みの中に息づく創造の力を、どうぞご体感ください。

PONTE, a store selling the glass works of Satoshi Sato, who creates blown glass in Yase, Kyoto, will reopened on Friday, March 21, 2025 after undergoing renovations designed by Shunya Hashizume of WATER AND ART, in celebration of its 10th anniversary.
 
The space, inspired by the sand dunes containing quartz, the main component of glass, is designed using rammed earth for the tables and all the earthen materials for the walls, including plastering.
 
Atsushi Torii from Atelier Kokonoma, specializing in sukiya architecture, oversaw the carpentry work, while Nakasu Plasterer, known for working on sukiya architecture, was responsible for the plastering. Additionally, the sliding door, crafted from Kyoto clay and used throughout the space, feature traditional Japanese paper, or karakami, which was created in collaboration between the karakamiartisan, Koh Kado of Kamisoe, and the mounting specialist, Yukio Fujita of Fujita Gasodo.

京都・八瀬において吹きガラスを制作する佐藤聡のガラス作品を販売する店舗PONTEが10周年を機にWATER AND ARTの橋詰隼弥設計により改修、2025年3月21日（金）にリニューアルオープンしました。

 
空間は、ガラスの主成分となる石英が含まれる砂丘をイメージして、版築の机と左官による全て土を用いた空間。
 
数寄屋建築を専門とするアトリエ九間の鳥居厚志が木工事の施工を監修、数寄屋・寺社仏閣を多く手がける中須左官店が左官工事を担当しました。また、引き戸は空間全体に用いられた京都の土をかみ添の嘉戸浩が唐紙にも取り入れ、表具を担当した藤田雅装堂とともに制作しました。
