The past week co-owner Glen and his wife have been travelling around Normandy. This all culminated in them renewing their wedding vows on the original Pegasus Bridge this afternoon at .
This is a special moment for both Glen an Steph who visited the bridge on their honeymoon 10 years ago.

Today we visited Grainville-Langannerie Polish war cemetery which is south of Caen.
The 1st Polish Armoured division arrived in Normandy at the end of July 1944. They fought in the battle of Caen and crucially held Mont-Ormel during the closure of the Falaise Pocket.

A break from Normandy and today with a quick trip to Brittany to visit ST Mont Michel.
- Be sure to buy tickets at the information centre to save time lining up later.
-We caught the horse and carriage for an experience but the free bus is very fast. Don’t be deceived by the long line for the bus as it moves quickly.
- The walk is manageable for all fitness levels but depends on the weather.
- We opted to get audio guides as we generally enjoy them but you could easily go without.
- We found the souvenir shops not to our tastes but we found a nice restaurant and was happy with the food.
- A must see for anyone visiting Normandy, Brittany or France.

Massive day out exploring Utah Beach and the US Airborne sector of Normandy.
- This is our third trip to Utah Beach. It is still a premier location of Normandy.
-The beach and surroundings monuments are amazing.
-The museum is excellent. It is great that it mainly focuses on what happened in the surrounding area not the whole of Normandy.
-We are often worried about tourist trap restaurants. In spite of this we tried Le Roosevelt and we can tell you we found the food great and the staff friendly. We would recommend it.
- As per most places in Normandy, there is ample free parking.

Each year we participate in the WW2 Challenge. The challenge is a virtual walking/riding event that raises money for the National World War 2 Museum in New Orleans.
Co owner Glen and his wife started the challenge today at the start of the Liberty Road in Sainte-Mère-Église.

We visited La Cambe German War Cemetery today. A somber place with a small yet excellent museum that tells the story of soldiers from both sides that died in the war.
The Panzer Ace Michael Wittmann is buried with the rest of his tank crew at block 47, Row 3, Grave 120. His grave is easily found, marked with flowers and the grass in front of the grave is worn out from foot traffic.

D-Day Wings Museum is one of the lesser known museums in Normandy but if you’re into aviation it is a must.
-You can sit in a Typhoon, Spitfire, C45, a B17 ball turret and operate a Bofors AA gun.
- All the staff are extremely helpful. François, our guide was excellent.
- It is different from the standard Normandy museums.
-Some have criticised this museum as the planes are not working and are limited to the cockpit. These people have no understanding of how hard it is to find these aircraft, let alone sit in them.
- The museum is hard to find. Make sure to go right to end of rue Jules Vedrines and then turn left.

Arromanches and the remains of the Mulberry Harbour are a must see if visiting Normandy.
-We advise to only visit the 360 cinema if you have limited knowledge of the Battle of Normandy as it just gives an overview of the battle.
-The town is filled with many places to eat and gift shops. We had a quick snack at Sergent Willys which is right next to the beach
-If wanting to get close to remains of the harbour make sure to visit at low tide.
-The carpark on the hill overlooking the harbour is large and the best place to park but there is only one machine to pay. This added 20minutes to our visit. Try to get parking in town if possible.
