Another Plein air painting day yesterday 😍 my favourite days 💕 this lil bug 🐛 loved paint too apparently and landed on the canvas then ran straight through the paint. I cleaned lil guy up (very gently) with some water and another paint brush. I couldn't get it all off but he didnt mind 🫠 I left him loving life in the bluebells by the Loch - maybe he just wanted to be camouflaged 🤭😂🌈💖✨️

I used acrylic paints for these dogs because they are quick drying and I needed to complete the painting before Christmas (dont worry, I did it on time 😜 im just really late uploadingthe videos 🙈)

Underpainting the puppies 🐶 I started with light, mid and dark tones and refined them later

I used 3 photos, 3 grids, lots of pencil and rubber bits but it was worth it to get to where I was happiest with the positions.
If I hadnt changed them it would have continued to annoy me while painting and I wouldn't have been happy with the painting at the end.
If your not happy with something in your drawing or art then change it when you notice it, dont wait or it will haunt you and you will regret it later.

Cloud reflections on the Loch with wild flowers 🌻🌸🌹🌼 I'm trying to finish off my sketchbook paintings from last year. This one was started on location, en pein air and finally finished at home (about 6 months later 😜) 🌈✨️💖

Plein air painting - my favorite thing in my favorite place 💖💕 it was cold though 😜 I only managed about an hour sitting out but ill be back soon in my cozy camper with Muffin and spend the day painting ✨️💖 i cant wait! #
