A favourite subject of mine, I constantly refer to a local nature reserve to create a painting. Much of it is from my head, a memory mixed with a feeling and translated into pigment and water on paper. Lots of fun.

Loved this colour palette for my recent painting...hard to believe the reference photo was taken at midnight in June!! Light behaves differently there.
