HAPPY ULSTER DAY 2025 🇬🇧

On this day, 28 September 1912, 237,368 men signed the Ulster Covenant, and 234,046 women signed the Ulster Declaration, a pledge signed by women to support the men who signed the Ulster Covenant of the same day, all declaring their fierce opposition to Home Rule for Ireland.

Signed at Belfast City Hall and across the province, the Covenant was a defining moment in Irish history — a powerful expression of unionist identity, resistance, and political will.

Today, we remember the legacy of 28 September 1912 — a day that shaped the course of Northern Ireland’s history.

These posters were all used in 1912 to oppose Home Rule

To celebrate Ulster Day and all the things that make Ulster great, a new collection of posters from Ulster Print Works will be on sale on our new website launching this coming week.
