I'm delighted to have one of my artworks accepted for the 'Glass Muse' exhibition at the World of Glass Museum in St Helens. Artists were invited to submit a work inspired by one of inspired by rarely seen objects from the Pilkington Glass Collection.

My submission, 'Oleum II', was created by combining images of oil droplets, ice patterns and weathered paint. The resulting image is printed directly onto an aluminium panel. It was inspired by a stained glass panel designed by Paul San Casciani in 1988, based on the concept of matter as seen through a microscope.

The Glass Muse exhibition runs from 2nd May to 25th July.

The Liverpool Art Fair starts tomorrow, Friday 11th July and runs until 25th August. Open daily at the Royal Liver Building from 11am-5pm with free entry.

This abstract image was created as a result of a recent visit to the Cockburn's Port lodge in Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal. It is a composite of three images - two of them taken in the lodge and the third just down the street. It features vintage stencils used for marking the barrels, textures from the walls of the warehouse and colour from a rusty metal door. The red tones in the image remind me of the excellent port wine that I tasted at the end of the tour.

I am delighted to have two of my large-format abstract art works accepted for the Liverpool Art Fair. The exhibition runs from 11th July until 25th August at the Royal Liver Building on the Liverpool waterfront and is open seven days a week from 11am-5pm with free entry.

I have recently finished framing this piece, Arbores III, ready for my exhibition at Start-Yard beginning on 28th March. It has been created from three images of trees, clouds and weathered paint. Printed directly onto an aluminium panel and set in a white wooden float frame. The picture is 1 metre tall.

I'm looking forward to taking part in the '3 Artists' exhibition at Start-Yard in Birkenhead, together with Paul Ronayne and Naomi Rasell. Together we will be presenting a great mix of styles, formats and sizes.
The exhibition opens on the evening of Friday 28th March and is then open from Mon-Fri 9-5 until Thursday 24th April. Pop in for a browse and take advantage of Start-Yard's great cafe.
