Est. 2022 About The Life Story Preserver. My professional background has been in multimedia, broadcasting and audio production as a radio presenter and producer for 30 years. My passion has been history and heritage. Aside from my main profession, I am also lucky to have worked in the sector. People and stories have always been the core running through everything I do. The Life Story Preserver is

a culmination of an idea I had as far back as 2019, combining oral history along with skills such as interviewing and audio production gained in my professional life. The loss of both of my parents in 2020 also spurred me on, knowing I would never have the chance to ask those all important questions that I could have whilst they were alive. This is an opportunity to have those conversations on your behalf. In consultation with you, I would be thrilled to organise a sitting with your loved one and capture their own unique life story. I will prepare questions guiding the subject through their life’s events, whilst recording and capturing every moment. I will then edit the audio and present it back to you curated and soundtracked with inspiring and emotive music and sound effects (where necessary). The result will be like a podcast or audiobook. Video life stories are an additional option. Please get in touch for further information at [email protected] or send me a message. Oral History Recording. If you are organising a memory day, running an oral history or local history society, a museum, or audio/visual art project. Please get in touch to find out how I can help you in capturing professional, clear, quality oral history recordings.
