Rolo loves this walk too!
đž Coastal Magic, Wildflowers and Dolphin Spotting! đ¸đŹ
This section of the Anglesey coastal path from Moelfre to Lligwy is one of those walks that packs a lot into just two miles. Itâs an easy route with varied scenery - pretty wildflowers, rugged coastline, little beaches and a row of traditional fishermenâs cottages overlooking the sea⌠and if you keep your eyes on the water, you might even spot dolphins or porpoises along the way! đŹ
Ted loves this for the combination of coastal exploring and plenty of sniffing opportunities⌠and if youâre looking for a longer walk, you can continue along the coast path beyond Lligwy towards Traeth yr Ora - a much quieter and secluded little bay that you might just get all to yourself! đŠľ
And when youâve finished exploring, Moelfre has a couple of great dog-friendly dining options, with Annâs pantry (Tedâs favourite đ¤Š) and the Kimnel Arms both welcoming four-legged explorers!
âšď¸ All three beaches (Moelfre, Lligwy and Traeth yr Ora) are dog-friendly year round with no restrictions. Note that there is a temporary diversion in place on the coast path from Lligwy to Traeth yr Ora so youâll need to follow the signed diversion around the landslide section at Lligwy
