The Library and Beach Hut Gallery are open Friday, Saturday and Sunday 1100 to 1600....and on Sunday we're celebrating Community Rail Week with Friends of Kents Bank Station and Foreshore Community Fête. Liverpool music from Sands Band, stalls, refreshments, plantsale and visiting traction engine! From 13.00.

The Library and Gallery are open today. Sadly we can't offer any live steam such as 50 years ago today when 'Hardwicke' ran a series of shuttles from Grange to Carnforth. But we've great local artwork in the gallery cand thousands of railway books to browse borrow and buy. Special exhibition on Settle -Carliale Line. We're open today, Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday 11.00 bro 16.00

Want something different to do this weekend and avoid the bank holiday crowds? The Station Library and Beach Hut Gallery are both open this bank holiday weekend, including Monday, 1100 to 1600. We've lots of new work featured from Norma Gregory and Mike Barlow and plenty of new railway books in the Library including many duplicates for sale at bargain prices. The pop-up station buffet is open offering complimentary teas and coffee. Admire the new Station Bell!

The library and gallery are open as usual this weekend... Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The Library will also have a stall at Carnforth Model Railway Show on Saturday and Sunday. Hope you can call in and have a look and have a brew in our pop-up station buffet!

We've a great new exhibition in the gallery showcasing work by Norma Gregory and Mike Barlow. The library/bookshop and Beach Hut Gallery are open today and Sunday so pop in. Complimentary teas and coffee available from our award winning pop-up station buffet (bronze in national Community Rail Awards last Thursday in Derby). Celebratory biscuits too! From 11.00 to 16.00.

We're celebrating International Women's Day this weekend in the library with a display of books by and about women. They include Susan Major, Helens Wojtczak, Susan Major, Rosa Matheson and Kerry Hamilton. Be nice if there were more, but it's slowly changing. Meanwhile in the gallery we have superb work by Fran Brown, Jan Huntley-Peace, Lara Clahan, Amanda Hunter, Elaine Monaghan, Christine Baines, Beverley White and books by Karen Lloyd and Ruth Sutton.
