Huge recognition for Lisa and Tora from Wealden Works yesterday, who were invited onto GB News to discuss Britain’s growing youth unemployment crisis and the barriers many young people are facing when trying to access work and opportunities.⁣

The discussion highlighted the increasing number of young people who are currently NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training), and the importance of programmes that provide real support, guidance, confidence and pathways into employment.⁣

We’re incredibly proud of the work Lisa, Tora and the wider team continue to do across Wealden, supporting young people through free employability programmes, workshops, mentoring and business partnerships that genuinely change lives.⁣

If you would like to watch the interview, head over to the live stream below, the feature starts at around 1 hour 30 minutes in.⁣

⚡️The Retro Reset bus runs all day for about £1 of electricity!⚡️ 💪😀

At Retro Reset, we’re always thinking about sustainability and how we can make our mobile computing museum even more energy efficient for schools and community events.

Over the last few days we’ve been carefully measuring the electricity usage of all the retro systems, screens and lighting onboard the bus, and the results have been really encouraging. It’s fascinating seeing just how efficiently many of these classic systems still run today!

We’re now exploring portable power solutions and possibly even solar power in the future to help make the Retro Reset bus more self-sufficient and environmentally friendly while out on the road.

The idea of running a mobile retro computing museum using clean portable energy is something we’re really excited about, and we’ll share more updates as the project develops.

Thank you to everyone supporting Retro Reset and helping preserve computing history for the next generation.

We’ve been BUSY! 🚍💻

Since getting our new bus out on the road, Retro Reset has already visited **6 different bookings in just 14 days** – and what an amazing start it’s been!

We’ve had the pleasure of working with:
📍 Lindfield School in Eastbourne
📍 The Ropemakers Academy in Hailsham
📍 St Georges School in Brighton
📍 Heathfield Youth Centre (3 visits!)

Our time in Heathfield included two of our very first **trial sessions for our own Retro Reset club**, plus a fantastic session with the brilliant **Funky Teens youth club**!

It’s been incredible to see so many young people getting hands-on with retro tech, and we’re only just getting started. Thank you to everyone who’s welcomed us so far — we can’t wait to visit even more of you soon! 🙌

With hindsight, knowing what you know now… which one are you taking home?
