✨ St Ben’s Year 4 Visit the Lake Village Museum! ✨

On October 8th, we were delighted to welcome St Ben’s Year 4 to explore the fascinating artefacts in our Lake Village Museum. The class came to learn all about life in the Iron Age, and they were especially intrigued by the beautiful decorations on the pottery — perfect inspiration for creating and decorating their own pots during their upcoming Celts Day!

Students also explored the real items left behind when the village was abandoned and reflected on what they might leave behind if they moved house. It sparked some great conversations about what future archaeologists could discover about how we live today.

We asked the children what do you think people in the future might learn about our way of life?
