How has it already been a week since we attended the HEY Smile Charity Awards evening? ✨(be honest - You didn’t recognise us without our purple did you ??!!😂💜)

What an incredible night it was — and such a privilege to celebrate alongside so many amazing organisations doing such important work across our city. 💛

To make the week even more special, we welcomed the Little Fishes group to the museum on Friday. The sun was shining, families were connecting, relaxing, and enjoying some lovely time together. ☀️

We don’t have a group session tomorrow, but we’ll be back next week — dates will be posted shortly!

In the meantime, don’t forget the museums are open and free to visit, so make the most of the sunshine and we’ll see you all next Friday! 😊

Join us tomorrow for our family picnic as part of Maternal Mental Health Week 💚

Fresh fruit will be available (as always!)—we love encouraging our parents and little ones to enjoy healthy, nourishing snacks together. As parents, it’s so easy to put everyone else first, but taking care of yourself matters too. This week especially, we want to remind you: YOU ARE IMPORTANT.

We’ll also have hot drinks ready, and whatever the weather brings, we’ll make the most of it—exploring, hiding in the trees, and enjoying the beautiful surroundings at Thwaite Gardens 🌿

We can’t wait to see you all there!

Maternal Mental Health Week 2026

We’re proud to be supporting Maternal Mental Health Week 2026 and shining a light on an issue that still doesn’t get the attention it deserves.

Pregnancy, birth, and adjusting to motherhood can have a huge impact on women’s mental health — yet it’s often underestimated. We want to change that.

Let’s come together as a community to support, uplift, and remind every mum that she matters.

Phoenix Families is hosting a family picnic to raise awareness of maternal mental health — and you’re invited! 💜

All mums who attend will receive a gift bag filled with special treats, both at the picnic and through our group. Because every mum deserves to feel seen, heard, and valued.
