Horsforth Museum funded by Horsforth Village Historical Society 1988 Your museum is open again from Sat 26th of March 2022 each weekend Sat 10am until 4pm and Sunday 2pm until 5pm.

If you would like to open the museum with us why not be a volunteer.

Every picture tells a story, whats the one behind this. I believe this is Emmie Louise Somers, landlady of the Bull around 1900, she came from America with her first husband Max who was a surgeon in the American Civil War. You can see a film about him called the "Little Drummer Boy" Honest. Max is burried in Lawnswood Cemetery.

There seems to be an explosion of the rat population where ever you go these days. I looked in the archive for rat traps...
