A few creatives coming together in their own community to help transform a once thriving community which was then taken over by LCC and left for over a decade empty, abandoned, which then got turned into the Homes for a £1 scheme, current ch4 series somewhat dramatising the negativity and running with that as opposed to promoting how we are actually growing and building a community in the ever regenerating Picton area of Liverpool from the ground up.This page is a platform to share what we document from gorilla planting to covert installations to real fake news... and of course ironing board festivals, are you a cheese maker?. Space13 epic post time... So last year's Threshold V contrasting geometries piece 'The Drama Triangle' 2015 'carefully' wrestled with in the old Liverpool Craft Beer space (armed with generator!) (lack of power that was my dilemma!)recycled into this year's Alchemy/Transformation themed Threshold Six piece my 'Split Apart Together ' 2016 both very poignant 'pieces' given what has been a very challenging time the past 9 months experiencing life's extremes on a mental, emotional, physical and spiritual plane transforming lifes bipolar opposites of Drama cycles into something different. Nothing remains the same if the desire to learn, grow and change from the hard times, what was, to what can be, transform into something new. Thankyou to all who have been there through dark and light

Well today has been a long and emotional day at Art & Soul as we opened and closed our doors for the final time. So many memories. The amount of people that have came to Art & Soul/Spider over the years has been phenomenal. It has helped so many people (Myself included) in their recovery. Inspirational is a word that I truly beleive describes Art & Soul in a Nutshell. People came through the door lost with nowhere else to turn, nothing left to lose, lacking confidence self esteem and faith in themselves, no reason to smile but as I said nothing to lose so started attending activities. Finding out they were not alone growing their confidence and beleif and challenging themselves. (Met a person scared of heights first activity they went on was a abseil o.O and done it) It gave us a space to grow and an opporunity to see and try things we never thought possible and to then achieve them. I wont forget Art&Soul/Spider it will always be in my heart. But I am looking forward to the future with a lot of the things I have learned from here and hope can help someone else. Once you beleive in yourself anything is possible. Thank you for the Inspiration every single one of you.
