I am honoured and super excited to have been awarded a Create Grant Award from ✨

The Create Award allows me a period of research and development time to expand my emerging letterpress skills, working with specialist creative mentors to develop new ideas connected to public spaces within my community 💡

I will be developing a deeper, more technical expertise in letterpress under the guidance of and while exploring bilingual (Welsh/English) texts supported by and 🖋️ the wonderful will be documenting my journey through beautiful image (and adventures) 📸

How exciting is all of that?!

I am ever grateful to for believing in me and my project idea ✨ huge love and thanks to the megastar for giving me wings to dare to believe in myself and whose support has helped to make this dreamy application come true 💘✨

I am so very excited to get stuck in with my wonderful Mentors this year and cannot wait to see what unfolds💘

Cynefin

A brand NEW triptych of framed paper works launching this week 💫

Cynefin is beautiful Welsh word that loosely translates as your natural habitat, somewhere you feel most comfortable, most at home. It’s very much a feeling, an unseen, rather than a word perfect translation.

Each artwork includes a letter-pressed text, hand printed by me on an Adana 8 x 5 on the hilltop in Wales and framed in loops of paper eirigon daisies. Similar but different, each one unique, they are finished in bespoke walnut and brass tray frames. Nice 👌🏻

The exhibition will showcase the work of over 40 talented artisans across a wide range of disciplines and I’m so delighted to be considered one of them ✨

The RSA annual exhibition is the longest running annual exhibition of contemporary art and architecture in Scotland and I’m so honoured to be a part of this years celebrations ✨

Right now I’m on the monthly accountability call… IYKYK… there’s lots of interesting chatter around socials, showing up and accountability, so here’s one for me.

This weekend I’ll be finishing these bespoke invites for the exhibition over .

They’re destined for a small list of special galleries and industry leaders that I’d really like to meet and work with… let’s hope they think so too ✨
