The Lloyd's Art Group are a collective of artists including painters, printmakers, sculptors, photographic and mixed media artists who work in Lloyd’s of London or the London Insurance market or have an immediate connection to it. Founded in 1963, we have held an autumn exhibition and sale of fine art in the Lloyd’s building ever since and we hold smaller events in the City throughout the year. In

2020 we held the exhibition solely online and in future hope to run the exhibition both at Lloyd's and online concurrently.

Introducing Leonie Parkins 🍐

Leonie paints predominantly using acrylic and watercolour paints. Her paintings are an experiment of different styles and subjects but still life is a favourite. Leonie has a foundation degree in Art. She is also a member of the Hornsea Art Society and Yorkshire Art.

Introducing Sandra Summers!

Sandra is a member of the Society of Women Artists and a member of the Society of Botanical Artists. She has been exhibiting in the Mall Galleries each year since 1996.

She specializes in watercolour, enjoying the transparency and the vibrant colours of the medium.

Sandra was a florist, a freelance artist/designer and has taught watercolour classes for 20 years.

She has exhibited widely with the SBA in London, Madrid and Palmengarten

“My artwork is a direct response to the natural world. I often use tones not found in the natural landscape, resulting in my paintings taking on a more abstract quality. I photograph the landscape during my daily walks and journeys, relying on photographs and sketches to piece together fresh ideas back in the studio. These paintings don’t necessarily depict specific locations but instead convey a blend of images that evolve from my immersion in the landscape.”

I love to use layers in my work to create depth, texture and atmosphere. Nearly a week to go! 👩‍🎨

Our annual Lloyds Art Group exhibition will be taking place on the 25th - 28th November at Lloyds and online at lloydsartgroup.co.uk. There will be 60 artists showing their work, and 250+ bits of beautiful affordable fine art for sale.

The exhibition will be open throughout the week 9-4pm daily. Everything for sale with a percentage going to a homeless charity.

We hope to see you there! In the meantime, enjoy a sneak peak of some of the work… 🎨
