Liam Roche has cleverly created a new concept album called “The Eighth Henry” which is packed with original music composed around Henry and his wives.

He has decided to have a limited number pressed into vinyl and is donating 50% of the sales profit to “The Tudors Re-Imaged” art exhibition.

This money will help us get the gallery ready for public viewing. Please, if you collect vinyl and enjoy listening to new music, buy a copy which will help to make this fly

Hello Tudor fans...The Summer is well into swing, and progress is being made on the exhibition. We are now in receipt of four completely edited images for the gallery: one of Henry VIII, Queen Elizabeth I, Princess Mary, and Princess Elizabeth. Two of these images will be unveiled on Saturday, 6th July, at a Tudor Feast being held in Leicestershire, the county that gave rise to the Tudor Dynasty. If you have tickets for that feast, you will be one of the few to see the first previews of these wonderful pieces of art, for which your generous donations have contributed.

We are a long way off from completing this exhibition, with 12 more portraits to finance. I am in awe of the donations that have been made so far and realise that it is down to you guys that this is happening. If anyone can suggest other ways of raising funds, I am all ears, as it would be wonderful to open this complete exhibition in 2026.

I remember the elated feeling I got when the first donation came in. It proved to me that there were individuals like me who appreciated the Tudor history and would like to see a new, modern take on Tudor portraits. That has been my drive, to finish the exhibition to get it out to you, the public to enjoy!

Hello Tudor fans. Fundraising has taken a back seat for a while, to give people a breather as I recognise that spare money is a luxury these days. However, I would like to thank you for the donations so far. We have gone over the 1K amount, allowing us to have three portraits commissioned. A solo head and shoulders portrait of Henry VIII, a full-length portrait of Queen Elizabeth I in all her splendid glory and a full-length portrait of Princess Mary resplendent in a chapel after prayer. As we celebrate the work that we are producing as a collaboration with all the models and Salli Gainsford Photography, it is worth mentioning that the gallery is not trying to mimic the stunning artwork of Hans Holbein, as nothing can compare to these hand-drawn images of the Tudors. We are trying to achieve a work of art, using modern-day technology, to capture the Tudors in a different way, using Holbein's work as a reference.

We have just instructed Salli to start working on the portrait of the young Princess Elizabeth, captured in a beautiful red rose castle garden. Then, we will begin on the Queens of Henry, breathing life into those well-known women in history.

I would be most grateful if I could persuade you to make another donation. Please also ask family and friends to consider pledging to the cause. We are not a charity and do not hold charity status, and the money is not lining my pockets, as receipts can be provided for all the transactions that have been made if requested.

Here's to reaching the next target of 2K.

Once again, I would like to clarify the following information due to some individuals still creating unnecessary issues on public posts.

1. We are not a charity, nor have we ever claimed to be one. All donations are given freely by anyone who wants to.
2. We are putting together a digital photographic exhibition called "THE TUDORS RE-IMAGED", not "THE TUDORS RE-IMAGINED". Two different titles indeed.
3. We do not claim that the images are better than the original Holbein paintings. Our pictures draw inspiration from the Holbein portraits but offer a modern take on them.

We would like to thank all our donors so far for their generous donations and will continue fundraising to bring the exhibition on the road, despite derogatory public posts from a small group of individuals.

Just to clarify, The Tudors Re-Imaged, is not a charity. Never was or never has been. It is an art project to produce a gallery of Tudor themed images. All financial donations have been given freely and receipts can be produced to provide evidence on where the funds have been spent.
