Cooper & Adams - 1940s Shop and Social Display This gives a clear scenario of being a wartime shop when displaying in a period setting.

After many years of being active in WWII living history we realised that we needed to do something less active and started to develop a 'bombed out' shop display.

Two days to go until our very first English Civil War and Steam event being held at the historic Papplewick Pumping Station.

* English Civil War camps and re-enactors will be set up around the site.
* Musket firing demonstrations across the cooling pond.
* Weapon handling workshops.
* Hawkeye Falconry will be displaying birds of prey and flying demonstrations throughout the weekend.
* All engines will be in steam.
* Display of RC model submarines and boats on the cooling pond.
* Reservoir tours available with an additional fee.
* Tearoom & Lincoln Green brewery.
* Greenhouse and bric-a-brac sales.
* Kids play area.
* Dogs are welcome.
* Annual Passes are valid.
