The Arts for Health and Wellbeing Team are delighted to present the new Plaza exhibition, ‘Ferocious Grace’ by Usha Dapur Kar, Oxford-based artist and artivist.

The selected 19 out of the original series of 30 paintings explore the impact of institutional racism in the workplace on women of colour. Drawing on COCo's research (The “Problem” Woman of Colour in Non-Profit Organisations), Usha examines the dissonance encountered when racism occurs within the not-for-profit sector.

Mae'r Tîm Celf ar Gyfer Iechyd a Lles yn falch o gyflwyno'r arddangosfa newydd yn y Plaza, ‘Ferocious Grace’ gan Usha Dapur Kar, artist ac artistiaethwr o Rydychen.

Mae'r 19 o baentiadau a ddewiswyd allan o'r gyfres wreiddiol o 30 yn archwilio effaith hiliaeth sefydliadol yn y gweithle ar fenywod lliw. Gan dynnu ar ymchwil COCo (The “Problem” Woman of Colour in Non-Profit Organisations), mae Usha yn archwilio'r anghysondebau sy'n codi pan fydd hiliaeth yn digwydd o fewn y sector dielw.

On the day students conducted additional workshops on the wards, following by a joyful celebration of the project’s success at the Hearth Gallery.

🌱‘Lifecycles’ - Series of workshops delivered by Urban-Vertical CIC focused on the creation of four distinct collaborative mandalas, each symbolising a season – Summer, Autumn, Winter, and Spring.

In collaboration with Pedal Power Cardiff and Headway Cardiff & South East Wales the workshops blended the essence of each season, intertwining elements of creativity and food, and delving into their interconnected relationship.

🌱‘Lifecycles’ - Cyfres o weithdai a gyflwynir gan Urban-Vertical CIC sy'n canolbwyntio ar greu pedwar mandala cydweithredol gwahanol, gan symbolïo tymor - Haf, Hydref, Gaeaf, a Gwanwyn.

Mewn cydweithrediad â Pedal Power a Headway, mae'r gweithdai yn cymysgu hanfod pob tymor, cydweithio elfennau creadigrwydd a bwyd, ac archwilio eu perthynas gyda'i gilydd.
