A very interesting afternoon was had at Tyne Theatre and Opera House for an ‘artist day’. Eleven of us had access to the main auditorium and stage to draw and paint. Of course a visit to Details art shop was necessary 🤣

I had a delightful morning with Preston Grange Art Group today. We drew and painted flowers in watercolour using negative painting techniques.

Lots of beautiful art was produced and the members seemed to have enjoyed it.

Keep painting all of you. Thank you for inviting me to your friendly group.

What a brilliant sketching day Morpeth Art Group on FB had in Alnwick. Weather was good and Alnwick was busy.

Quite a few of us travelled by bus - it was like an old folks’ bus outing!🤣

We had coffee to start, then off out and about sketching various views.

Lunch at the Alno Lounge in Bondgate was great and staff were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Morpeth Art Group had a great day sketching in North Shields today. Lovely weather, chat, and an ice cream before heading home via the coast.
