A new one on the board…
I thought after the brown trout it’s only fair to have a grayling next.

This is going to take a while as I have to fit it in between Christmas projects.

Leaded Popper Fry
I saw this tying recently on YouTube site - https://bit.ly/4osoKQq, an excellent watch with many superb patterns - and it reminded me of the great sport you can have around this time of the year with fry patterns on our lakes and reservoirs. 

This one has lead substitute wire underneath so it adopts the correct attitude in water, imitating a wounded fry so effectively. I have used a similar pattern for several years but it isn’t leaded so I will have to tie some up.

The battle continues…
Another small step closer with what must be my favourite fish. This will be a week or two yet!

Produced using Polychromos and coloured pencils on toned tan paper.

A big change to a small space…
Like many others, I have to use a small space for all of my art, design and social media space, but I’ve had a bit of light bulb moment!

These are the key points:
• Added a really sturdy, fold up table that aligns perfectly with the existing desk;
• Mirrored my MacBook to my Dell monitor
• Also mirrored my iPad to my MacBook so I can zoom in and out and listen to podcasts etc
• Added an arm to hold my iPad and…
• Covered the table top with cardboard from the packaging to create a non glare finish.

It has made a huge difference and can be packed away when it’s being used as its duel function as a guest room.

All for less than £40($55)!
