If leaving everything until the last minute was an art form, I'd have a whole collection dedicated to it by now! 😂
It’s exhibition day!! 😁
I’ll be at the beautiful Selby Abbey today from 10 till 4 with my dream team, the Selby Art Collective, and I can’t wait!
We’ve all been working our socks off getting everything ready, although I’ve somehow managed to leave about 47 jobs until the very last minute. Nothing new there then! 😂
So if you’re planning to pop in early, there’s a very good chance you’ll find me still faffing about, moving paintings two inches to the left, standing back, squinting at them, then putting them straight back where they were.
And if you catch me doing that, don’t be surprised if I rope you in to help! 😂
One of the pieces coming with me today is Forgiveness, beautifully framed and expertly printed by Tiger Print at a rather ridiculous hour last night! Huge thank you for pulling that one out of the bag for me. 🙏
I think he’s going to look absolutely splendid in the Abbey. There’s something quite special about seeing this particular piece in such a beautiful setting. ❤️
We’ve got a fabulous collection of original artwork to share with you, including some brand new paintings of mine that nobody has seen yet! I’ve also been busy creating some lovely little original watercolour minis, which I’ll be bringing along too. Small enough to find a home just about anywhere, and each one a little original piece of art in its own right.
And that’s one of my favourite things about exhibiting with this lot. We’re all so different in what we create, but somehow it all works beautifully together. There’s always something new to discover.
So, what are you up to this weekend? Fancy a little wander around one of Yorkshire’s most beautiful buildings with a whole load of art thrown in?
We’re here today AND tomorrow, Sunday, 10am till 4pm, right at the east end of Selby Abbey, in our lovely new exhibition space.
Everyone is welcome, including your four-legged friends! 🐾
Come and say hello, have a good nosey, bring a friend, bring the dog, and enjoy a bit of art.
Right, I’d better get moving. I’ve only got about 47 things left to do before 10am. 😂
See you at the Abbey! ❤️
