Have your say on Sleaford’s free outdoor cinema 🎞️

We are running Facebook polls to help choose the three films for a free outdoor cinema at Eastgate Green, as part of Sleaford Midsummer Festival on Saturday 20 June.

You can vote for your favourites across three categories:

We’re starting to reuse clean plastic shopping bags in the mill gift shop for carrying flour and other goodies home — a small way we can cut down on waste together.

Lots of you already bring your own bags when you visit us, which is wonderful — thank you! It really does make a difference, and we always love to see it.

And for those times you forget, reusing a bag feels a little kinder than reaching for a brand-new one. ♻️🌾

Here’s a little look at how we turn grain into flour 🌾

We buy our grain from Maud Foster Mill in Boston, mill it here at the watermill, then bag it up ready to use. No additives or anything extra added along the way — just ground into flour the traditional way.

🍞 Baker appreciation moment! 🍞

A huge thank you to Donna for sharing these lovely photos of her spelt seeded loaf, baked using our stone‑ground spelt flour – it looks absolutely delicious! 🤍

If you’re feeling inspired, you can pick up stone‑ground flour from our mill shop – available in white, wholemeal or spelt.

🌱 No additives
🌾 No preservatives
🍞 Just freshly milled, bagged flour from Lincolnshire grain

And don’t forget – during our opening times you can also help yourself to free bran and take away recipe cards to try at home.
