At the Southport Rotary Clubs Inner Wheel group today, do my talk on the Classical Architecture of the town. Thank you to everyone involved in the organising of this talk.

Happy New Year everyone!

Some exciting news! On Valentine's Day, I'm doing a talk at The Atkinson. Forget about love, I am discussing the Ancient Egyptian's Guide to Having Fun! All the Egyptology talks you see are about the serious side of things, like wars or royalty, or even just plain old facts. This talk is different. We will delve into the leisure and free time, and even have a go yourself!

Had the honour of helping set down the Self Portrait Prize at the Atkinson today. The winner was this huge head, that is now wrapped up and ready to go back on tour!

Yesterday I attended an opening event for the Engine Room, a new creative space for the independent, creative workers of Southport. It was so exciting discovering their vision for the space, and possibly be an exciting collaboration in the future! Find out more from the link below:

Went back to school for a Egyptology session with year 3 and 4! Had a smashing day! So nice seeing some of my old teachers and TAs. What a blessing! I left 13 years ago and nothing has really changed!
