AMBERLEY MUSEUM MEETING –WEDNESDAY 2nd SEPTEMBER
Where has the summer gone? It seems only yesterday we were dusting off the cars and looking forward to the first Amberley meeting of 2026, and now we are already heading towards the final Amberley evening of the year!

Our last visit to the Museum is tomorrow, 2nd September, so polish the car, check the tyres, find your keys and join us tomorrow.

The gates will open promptly at 5.15pm. If you arrive early, please wait at Amberley Railway Station until we are ready to bring everyone into the Museum. We would be grateful if you could have your £2 contribution ready when you arrive. The quicker we can collect the money, the quicker we can get everyone and their pride and joy safely into the grounds. We will also be able to minimise the time one of the committee will stand in the road aiding traffic congestion!

What a turnout we have been enjoying this year! We certainly won't be expecting to beat the 287 cars and motorbikes that descended on Amberley at our last meeting. Yes, 287! That's rather more than we normally expect at this event. Maybe we can beat this in 2027? It is an especially impressive number when you remember that our Annual SADCASE Show in July was deliberately limited to 180 vehicles, ensuring that everyone had a decent space and, importantly, that nobody had to park their MG in the shrubbery!

A huge thank you once again to everyone who came along and supported the event — and especially to those who bought raffle tickets. The raffle was a great success, with lots of prizes finding new homes and plenty of very happy winners. We are already wondering how we managed to find so many things to give away! Thank you to all those who helped in this regard.

So, let's make our final Amberley meeting of 2026 another memorable one. Bring the car, bring a friend, bring £2 — and bring your best stories!

TOMORROW!
CAMELIA BOTNAR GARDEN CENTRE MEETING – 9.30am

It’s our final SADCASE visit to Camelia Botnar Garden Centre this year — so let’s make it a good one!

Tomorrow morning we return to this lovely venue for what will be our final SADCASE breakfast meeting at Camelia Botnar Garden Centre in 2026. The official start time is 9.30am, and we would love to see as many members as possible turn up with their cars and bikes.

This has proved to be a great venue for SADCASE. There is a special parking area for our members, giving us plenty of opportunity to admire the variety of cars and motorcycles that make our club so different. The Garden Centre itself offers plenty to browse, while the café provides the perfect excuse for breakfast, coffee and a good old-fashioned chat about cars!

The SADCASE website specifically recommends arriving at 9.30am, before the Garden Centre’s normal customers begin arriving from around 10.00am, helping everyone to avoid the queues and enjoy the morning at its best.

Jessica and I have unfortunately been unable to attend the first two meetings here, so we are particularly looking forward to being there tomorrow, together with our fellow Gearbox Committee members, to welcome you.

And remember, you don't need to bring a concours-winning classic. Bring whatever you enjoy driving! One of the great things about SADCASE is the extraordinary mixture of cars and bikes that turns up — from classics and sports cars to modern performance machinery and everything in between.

The Camelia Botnar Garden Centre is at Littleworth Lane, Cowfold, RH13 8NA.

So, polish the car if you have time, check the oil if you are feeling energetic, and come and join us for breakfast, cars, coffee and good company.

AMBERLEY MUSEUM MEETING 5th AUGUST

SADCASE at Amberley Museum
Wednesday 5th August –
The Great Summer Raffle!
Our August evening meeting at Amberley Museum is always one of the highlights of the SADCASE calendar. Alongside another superb gathering of classic, sporting and unusual vehicles, we'll be holding our second and final raffle of the year—and it's always tremendous fun!

Every year our members amaze us by uncovering some wonderfully unusual prizes from lofts, garages, workshops and even from under the bed! Whether it's a motoring accessory, an interesting book, vintage automobilia, a model car or something guaranteed to raise a smile, every donated prize helps support club funds and makes the evening even more entertaining.

If you're having a clear-out before the autumn arrives, why not bring along something with a motoring theme? If you're struggling to find a suitable automotive item, a bottle of wine or other alcoholic drink always makes a welcome alternative.

The Raffle
Tickets: Just £1 each
On sale from: 5.45 pm
The more tickets you buy, the better your chances of taking home one of the many prizes!
Our members have never let us down with prize donations, and we're sure this year will be no exception. Every raffle produces plenty of laughs, a few surprises, and lots of happy winners. Many of us will head home with something memorable!

Meeting Information
Please note that the museum gates do not open until 5.15 pm, so if you arrive early there is a convenient waiting area at Amberley Railway Station opposite the entrance.

If you park in the Limeburners Café car park, don't forget to register your vehicle registration number inside the café to avoid receiving a parking charge notice.

As always, we'll enjoy a relaxed summer evening surrounded by hundreds of interesting vehicles, catch up with friends old and new, and welcome anyone attending for the first time.

Whether you're arriving in a concours classic, a cherished daily driver, a modern sports car or simply coming along to enjoy the company, everyone is welcome.

Bring a prize, buy a few raffle tickets, and join us for another memorable SADCASE evening at Amberley—we look forward to seeing you there!
