Hello to all of our followers. A little something about us and our museum for you to read. Firstly a big thank you to everyone who supports us, in doing so you are an important part to the upkeep of every single artifact in this museum, you help keep these wonderful vehicles for future generations to see.
This photo is myself about 10 years old, me, my Dad and our late dog Sam. Every moment in life has brought us here, we are 3 generations of family and of course our wonderful staff over the past 25 years. I am so thankful and proud.
This photo is so precious, my Dad as some know built a garage in Gaerwen, Ty Crwn. In short he bought a piece of land and built a garage, and with his loyal customers success was inevitable, then came the dream. Let me tell you a little bit about my Dad, he worked 7 days a week for years, from 5 in the morning till dark, he had already acquired FPC (landrover) which he always credits as part of his success, this was years before he purchased the Humber Pullman, it arrived late one night and my sister and I thought it was a herse, it wasn't, it was a resting giant of an old school limousine, beautiful!.
In 99/2000 the museum started to take shape, my Dad tiling floors at 2 am after a long day in the garage, only my Dad would do such a crazy thing and it came to pass, we opened the doors in 2001 and the people came, we are greatful for everyone who have stepped foot through the doors that now house a collection of well over 100 vehicles sourced and restored by Dad and our amazing extended family. From FPC over 50 years ago to the plane, I tell you when that arrived I shared a quiet moment with my Dad and nothing needed to be said as we stared at the hunter with the sun setting behind it !
Memories too many to mention. Here is to many more moments ! thanks to all who have taken a moment to read . Share your stories of my Dad in the comments.
