Half term last week meant we didn't get round to celebrating Chinese New Year. 2026 marks the Year Of The Horse 🐎
Celebrations usually begin on the second new moon after the winter solstice, and last for 16 days. Which means in 2026 they run from 17th February to March 3rd.
Interestingly this year the transition to the year of the horse is also aligned (within the same 48hrs) with the start of Lent and Ramadan. The first time in 163 years
Our Chinese New Year collection of sterling silver jewellery features materials with deep roots in Chinese heritage.
We use authentic Jade, a stone used for over 7,000 years to symbolise luck and protection.
Our range also includes upcycled Blue Willow pottery, repurposed from antique Minton porcelain to showcase traditional Chinese folklore.
Other pieces from the collection include Tibetan turquoise and jewellery and cufflinks made from traditional Mahjong tiles.
