After years of inactivity, the Peki Post Office has been renovated and is now fully operational, thanks to the dedication of the people of Peki. This marks a significant step in restoring essential services to the community.

UPDATES FROM NEC-ELECT MEETING WITH THE BOARD OF GOVERNORS OF PESCO
———————————————————
The National President, Vice President, and General Secretary of the Peki Secondary School Old Students’ Association (PESCOSA) attended an emergency meeting of the Board of Governors of Peki Secondary School on Friday, 16th January 2026, at the school campus.

The meeting was convened to discuss the upcoming 70th Anniversary Celebration of PESCO. Key discussions focused on the proposed framework for the celebration, during which NEC-Elect presented a comprehensive framework document for consideration.

The document was unanimously accepted by the Board of Governors, who expressed their full support and commended NEC-Elect for the excellent work done so far.
NEC-Elect also presented a proposal for the reconstruction of the school’s main entrance to the Board of Governors. The proposal was approved, with the Board noting that it is befitting of the 70th Anniversary Celebration.

Additionally, the delegation engaged with the Student Representative Council (SRC) to discuss their role in the anniversary activities and to address other challenges facing the students.

Further communication will be shared with the public in due course.

Peki Dzake to Receive New Teachers’ Quarters

Tomorrow, Thursday 20th November 2025, a 4-unit teachers’ quarters will be handed over at Peki Dzake. The event will be attended by Volta Regional Minister Hon. James Gunu, Hon. Courage Kwame Kokroko, DCE for South Dayi and South Dayi MP Hon. Rockson Nelson Defeamekpor.

The facility is expected to improve teacher accommodation and support quality education in the community.
