Remembering an Evening of Art, Legacy, and Creative Excellence: “A Grand Celebration of Creativity and Cultural Harmony”
The evening stood as a remarkable celebration of art, creativity, and cultural excellence, bringing together eminent artists, dignitaries, and art lovers under one roof. The occasion commemorated three significant milestones—the launch of the IAMARTIST International Art Magazine, the Masterclass Art Exhibition “The Golden Triangle,” and the presentation of the Golden Triangle Excellence Awards.
As the memorable celebration concluded, organizers Smruti Nayak and Debashish Baral expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to making the event a grand success. What had once begun as the dream of a passionate individual had transformed into a meaningful artistic movement, made possible through the unwavering support, encouragement, and presence of artists, dignitaries, and well-wishers.
Special gratitude was extended to esteemed dignitaries Dr. Sanjeev Kishor Goutam, Director General, National Gallery of Modern Art, New Delhi, Prof. Him Chatterjee, Vice Chancellor, Sir J.J. School of Art, Architecture & Design, Mumbai and Dr. Anil Ram Sutar, Eminent Sculptor, Architect, and son of Late Ram V. Sutar for their inspiring presence, guidance, and valuable words that enriched the occasion.
The exhibition brought together 20 eminent artists and sculptors whose remarkable contributions had significantly enriched the landscape of Indian art and culture. The participating artists included legendary Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan awardee Ram V. Sutar; Anjani Reddy, former Head of Department at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad; Baldev Maharatha, former Principal of B.K. College of Art & Crafts; Him Chatterjee; Padma Shri awardee Binod Moharana; eminent sculptor and National Awardee Chuguli Sahoo; and renowned artists Jiten Hazarika, Kali Kinkar, Kalicharan Gupta, Kavita Nayar, Krishan Ahuja, and Madan Lal. The exhibition also featured Paramjeet Singh, former Professor of Fine Arts at Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi; Prem Singh, former Principal of Government College of Art, Chandigarh; along with Prithvi Soni, Ram Viranjan, Somenath Maity, and Swapan Roy. Representing diverse artistic traditions, contemporary practices, sculpture, painting, and academic excellence, these distinguished personalities transformed the exhibition into a landmark celebration of artistic legacy, creativity, and cultural dialogue.
A deeply emotional tribute was paid to legendary sculptor Ram V. Sutar, whose extraordinary artistic legacy became the inspiration behind the launch of the International Art Magazine. The organizers shared that meeting the maestro had been a defining moment that inspired them to dedicate the publication in his honour.
Sincere thanks were conveyed to Dr. Anil Ram Sutar for his constant support, valuable guidance, and encouragement throughout the journey. Gratitude was also extended to every participating artist who wholeheartedly contributed their artworks to the exhibition, helping transform the vision into reality.
