SubḥānAllāh 🌹 Every time I see roses in bloom here in England, I am left utterly in awe. They are nothing short of magical. Some of them are dual-toned — so perfectly blended with two or even three shades in a single flower — that they look unreal, yet they are real, SubḥānAllāh.
Roses are not only breathtakingly beautiful, but in England, they bloom in a way that truly stops you in your tracks. Imagine — a single branch carrying twenty to thirty blossoms at once! And what amazes me even more is that they flourish so profusely in cold weather, when we would normally expect flowers to retreat and wither away.
This is without a doubt a sign from Allāh ﷻ. Just as He allows roses to blossom abundantly in the cold, He grants us the strength to flourish even during the “cold seasons” of our lives — the storms, the hardships, and the trials.
Flowers, and especially roses, bring a unique tranquility to the heart. Their beauty softens us, uplifts us, and whispers reminders of Jannah. Can you imagine the gardens of Paradise, where flowers will never fade, their colors will never dull, and their beauty will never wither? SubḥānAllāh — what we see in this dunya is only a fleeting glimpse, a tiny reflection of the eternal beauty that awaits.
Roses are a silent testimony to the perfection of Allāh’s creation. Their shades, their fragrance, their resilience, their elegance — each one pointing us back to the One who fashioned them so flawlessly.
May Allāh Subhãnahu Wa Taãla make our hearts bloom with īmān just like these roses, and may He honor us to be among those who enter the everlasting gardens of Jannah, where beauty never ends. Āmīn.
