Meet Artist Sanket Thorat !!
Sanket’s paintings emerge from journeys — shaped by changing skies, shifting light, and the emotional memory of place.
Working directly on-site, he captures the unique “color identity” of landscapes and temple architecture, allowing geography and atmosphere to guide each composition. His recent body of work inspired by Hampi moves between landscape and portraiture, finding emotion within weathered stone, fractured faces, and the quiet poetry of time-worn temples.
Through luminous realism and a signature golden-hour palette, Sanket transforms heritage structures into living, breathing spaces — where history, light, and human presence continue to coexist.
A graduate of Sir J.J. School of Art, Mumbai, Sanket works across oils and watercolors with remarkable technical precision and sensitivity.
