ONKAI Sound Art Residency 2026
2026年10月24日・奈良県吉野郡十津川村竹筒のルーカス・キューネ制作、野外音響彫刻ONKAIで
第２回ONKAOIフェスティバル2026が開催されます。

連動プログラムとして、「ONKAI サウンドアート・レジデンシー2026」を実施します
このプログラムは、野外彫刻「ONKAI」を舞台にした、サウンドアート作品の企画・制作コンペティションです。
⾳、聴覚、⾃然、そして社会的（都市／村落）⽂脈の相互作⽤がもたらす多様な可能性を探求するサウンドアーティストあるいは作曲家を１名募集します。

・応募対象：サウンドアーティストあるいは作曲家
・制作補助費：100,000 円（渡航費、現地までの交通費ならびに⾷費は⾃⼰負担です。）
・応募方法：ONKAI公式ウェブサイトよりエントリーしてください
・宿泊：ゲストハウス「noad」に無料滞在
・制作日程：2026年10⽉11⽇～23⽇
・発表：レジデンシーでの成果を10⽉24⽇／第２回ONKAIフェスティバルに発表してください。
・締　切：2026年8⽉30⽇ 日本時間17:00時 必着
・発　表：2026年9⽉中旬
・当選者：当選者にe-mailで通知、ONKAI公式サイトと公式インスタグラムにて発表

ONKAI Sound Art Residency 2026
On October 24, 2026, the 2nd ONKAI Festival 2026 will be held at ONKAI, an outdoor sound sculpture created by sound sculptor Lucas Kühne, in Taketutsu, Totsukawa Village, Yoshino District, Nara, Japan.
As a related program, we are now accepting applications for the ONKAI Sound Art Residency 2026.
This program is an open competition for the planning and production of a sound art work to be created and presented at the outdoor sculpture ONKAI.
We are looking for one sound artist or composer interested in exploring the diverse possibilities that emerge through the interaction of sound, listening, nature, and social contexts—both urban and rural.
・Eligibility: Sound artists and composers�・Production grant: JPY 100,000�　Travel expenses, local transportation, and meals are not covered.�・How to apply: Apply through the official ONKAI website�・Accommodation: Free stay at the guesthouse “noad”�・Residency period: October 11–23, 2026�・Presentation: October 24, 2026, at the 2nd ONKAI Festival�・Application deadline: August 30, 2026, 5:00 PM JST�・Announcement of results: Mid-September 2026�・Selected artist: The selected artist will be notified by email and announced on the official ONKAI website and Instagram.

奈良県⼗津川村⽵筒集落という素晴らしいロケーションを舞台に、ルーカス・キューネ⽒の⾳響彫刻ONKAIに触発され、「⾳と構造」というテーマのもと制作される作曲作品、インスタレーション、展⽰、パフォーマンス、コンサートなどを第２回ONKAIフェスティバルにおいて発表していただきます。

制作場所
ONKAIおよび、奈良県吉野郡⼗津川村⽵筒集落

宿泊：ゲストハウス「noad」に無料滞在。宿泊施設は、参加クリエイター本⼈のみに提供されます。

支援内容
制作補助費：100,000 円

We are pleased to announce the "ONKAI Sound Art Residency 2026 Call for Applications," held in conjunction with the 2nd ONKAI Festival in October 2026.
This program is a proposal and creation competition for sound art works set at the outdoor sculpture "ONKAI," located in Taketo village, Totsukawa Village, Nara Prefecture.
We are seeking one sound artist or composer to explore the diverse possibilities emerging from the interaction between sound, audition, nature, and social contexts (urban/rural).

Theme: "Sound and Structure"
Inspired by Lukas Kühne’s sound sculpture "ONKAI" in the exceptional setting of Taketo village, Totsukawa Village, Nara Prefecture, the selected artist will present a composition, installation, exhibition, performance, or concert created under the theme of "Sound and Structure" during the 2nd ONKAI Festival.

Production Site:
ONKAI and Taketo village, Totsukawa Village, Yoshino District, Nara Prefecture

Accommodation:
Complimentary stay at the "noad" guesthouse. Accommodation is provided exclusively for the participating artist.

Grant & Support:
Production Support Fund: JPY 100,000

Residency Period:
October 11 – October 25, 2026
*Note: Family members, partners, friends, or guests are not permitted to stay at "noad."
*Travel expenses to the venue and meal expenses must be borne by the participant.

Application Deadline:
August 30, 2026, 17:00 JST (Strict deadline)
