ゴールドを基調とした色彩を描くため、28層にも及ぶ塗装工程を重ね、一層ずつ表情をつくり上げています。さらに、モデリングによる有機的な造形を加えることで、平面的な塗装だけでは生まれない立体感と陰影を引き出しました。光を受けることで表情が変わり、見る角度によって異なる存在感を見せます。
本来は身を守るための道具であるヘルメットに、UNDULATIONの技術と美意識を重ねることで、機能を超えたひとつの作品へ。身につけるためだけでなく、空間に置いて眺めるためのオブジェとしても楽しんでいただけます。

Developed around a gold-based color palette, the surface was built up through a painstaking process of 28 layers of paint, with each layer carefully applied to create depth and character. Organic forms were also sculpted through a modeling process, adding a sense of volume and dimensionality that cannot be achieved through painting alone. As light moves across the surface, the finish reveals subtle changes in expression, offering a different presence from every angle.
A helmet, originally created as a functional object for protection, is transformed through UNDULATION’s craftsmanship and aesthetic sensibility into a work of art in its own right. It can be worn, but it can also be appreciated as a sculptural object within a private collection or interior space.
