The University of Mindanao College of Architecture and Fine Arts Education & Studio Solum invite you to '𝙏𝙖𝙥𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙏𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙨,' a two-part solo exh(i)bition of geometric explorations by 𝘼𝙧. 𝙁𝙧𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙡 𝘽𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙖𝙜, 𝙈𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝘼𝙧𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 (𝙍𝙈𝙄𝙏).

The exh(i)bition opens at The Commons, Matina Town Square, Davao City, from March 23-30, 2025, with an opening reception on March 23 at 5 PM.
It then continues at UM Matina's New Library, from April 3-14, 2025, with an opening on April 3 at 11 AM.

A successful printmaking workshop earlier with SPA students from Samal National High School and a few resort guests ❤️

The workshop started off with a lecture on the history and importance of printing in human history, then proceeded to activities in monotype, rubbercut, and silk screen printing. ❤️

Human history owes a lot to the invention of printing techniques, as it served as the platform for proliferation of knowledge.

Much thanks to La Vida Art Space and Cafe for the accomodations and dedication to nurturing the Samal art scene!

Artistic practice is fundamentally a means to an end.
In studying history, it has been used as a tool for celebration, story-telling, and serving a cause.

This exhibit is not a showcase of the creatives' artistic prowess only, but of their willingness to be a stone that builds a house.

To anyone interested, the show is in support and benefit of bettering the lives of our brethren patients.

Printing is an artform that's a cornerstone of human society. It enabled the mass distribution of knowledge for people to educate themselves with.

Server DVO XI - Art Group is holding a printing lecture and workshop this February 6, 2025, from 1PM to 4PM, at La Vida Art Space and Cafe La Vida Art Space and Cafe, Samal Island.

Admission is FREE. Maximum of 15 participants.
Please send us a message if you're interested in participating.
Bring your own plain shirts, tote bags, or canvas cloth to print on.
