The San Beda Alabang Museum and Archives proudly served as the venue for Ladies of Justice 2026, held yesterday, April 15.

Organized by the Junior Bedan Law Circle, the event brought together strong and brilliant women whose voices echo with courage and convictionโ€”reminding us that the pursuit of justice is not merely a profession, but a calling.

We are honored to have hosted a gathering that celebrates empowerment, intellect, and the enduring spirit of justice within our museum spaces.

SNAPSHOTS: On March 18, 2026, St. Scholasticaโ€™s College, Manila visited the San Beda Alabang Museum for an enriching engagement with Bedan and Philippine heritage. The group was received and guided by Rev. Fr. Gerardo Ma. de Villa, OSB, together with members of the museum staff.

Bound by a shared Benedictine tradition, St. Scholasticaโ€™s College, like San Beda College Alabang, upholds the values rooted in the Rule of St. Benedict. Established in 1906, the institution was founded and continues to be administered by the Congregation of the Missionary Benedictine Sisters of Tutzing.

PHOTOS: In line with the commemoration of the 40th anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution, the San Beda Museum and Archives launched the exhibit entitled EDSA@40.

Together with Ms. Grace Nevado of Social Science Department, students from the Junior and Senior High School actively participated in the program, engaging with the artifacts, images, and stories that shaped this defining moment in Philippine history on February 24.

Through the exhibit, learners were invited not only to revisit the events of 1986 but also to reflect on the enduring values of democracy, civic responsibility, and the power of peaceful revolution.

May we never forget the power of unity, courage, and a shared voice that led the nation to a historic and peaceful victory. May the spirit of EDSA continue to inspire present and future generations to stand for truth, justice, and love of country.

The exhibit is open at the OLM Building Student Activity Center of the San Beda College Alabang until February 27.

Today we celebrate the Feast of St. Scholastica, twin sister of St. Benedict and the first Benedictine nun.

Born in 5th-century Italy, St. Scholastica dedicated her life to God from an early age and later founded a community of women living according to the Benedictine way of prayer, work, and community. Her life reminds us that faith grounded in love can be as powerful as rules and structures, echoed in the well-known story where her prayer brought a storm, teaching that love prevails.

At the San Beda Alabang Museum and Archives, one of our cherished collections is a statue of St. Scholastica (2007), sculpted by Dr. Feorillo Demeterio, and proudly part of the Museumโ€™s collection, located in the main lobby where it welcomes visitors, together with other Benedictine saints, and inspires reflection on her enduring presence in the Benedictine tradition.
