Our Leyte Junior Stamp Club members had a fun and creative Summer Stamp Talk at the TLPS Center!

They tried out letter writing โœ๏ธ, made their own postcards ๐Ÿ–ผ๏ธ, learned stamp soaking โœ‰๏ธ๐Ÿ’ง, and got tips on how to exhibit their collections.

After the session, the students also enjoyed a special visit to the Eastern Visayas Science Centrum ๐Ÿ”ฌ๐ŸŒŸ

With deep sadness, we remember Maโ€™am Ruth Tudtud, one of the most active members of the Leyte Philatelic Society. She was always present and rarely missed any event, sharing her time and love for the hobby.

Her passion and kindness brought life to our group, and her absence leaves a space that can never be filled. TLPS will never be complete without her.

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our dearest Maโ€™am Ruth Tudtud, one of the most active, passionate, and dedicated members of the Leyte Philatelic Society. Her unwavering love for philately, along with her generosity and warmth, left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Maโ€™am Ruth was more than a member she was a source of inspiration, always eager to share her knowledge, stories, and enthusiasm for the hobby. Her presence brought life to every gathering, and her contributions helped strengthen the bond within our group.

Though she may no longer be with us, her legacy will continue to live on through the stamps she cherished, the memories she created, and the people she touched. She will always be remembered with love and gratitude.

Our deepest condolences to her family and loved ones. You will be greatly missed, Maโ€™am Ruth. ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

Gearing up for LEYTEPEX 2026! ๐Ÿ“ฌ

The The Leyte Philatelic Society committees recently met with Sir Danny Cerence and the Philippine Stamp Collector's Society (PSCS) group to discuss our plans for LEYTEPEX 2026.

It was a productive day of learning as we gathered expert advice on how to host a successful stamp exhibition. We are excited to apply these new insights to make our upcoming event a great experience for all exhibitors and collectors!

Last April 22, we had our first meeting for LEYTEPEX 2026 and it was both productive and fun! We started laying out plans as part of our early preparations, sharing ideas and getting everyone excited for whatโ€™s ahead.

It wasnโ€™t all serious talk though we also had some fun activities like stamp sharing and even a raffle from Maโ€™am Ann, which made the day extra enjoyable.

This is just the beginning, and we canโ€™t wait to see everything come together. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue preparing for LEYTEPEX 2026!
