It is an honor to have my work " Pusong Mammon " currently exhibited at the Loyola Retreat House - Spirituality and Art Center - Angono 🌿

Ad Jesum per Mariam, meaning "To Jesus through Mary," reflects a path of faith and devotion that inspires this sacred space. I am grateful for the opportunity to share my work in a place where art and spirituality meet.

Sean Winston Intalan Ulang, born on April 28, 2006, is a multifaceted young artist hailing from the vibrant cultural landscape of Angono, Rizal, often regarded as the Art Capital of the Philippines.

His artistic journey began with a precocious display of talent at the age of eight when he started competing in local poster-making contests, a foundation that instilled in him an early mastery of visual storytelling and composition.

This innate passion led him to the Regional Lead School for the Arts, where he received specialized training that bridged the gap between raw creativity and technical discipline.

Today, he continues to refine his craft at the prestigious University of the Philippines College of Fine Arts, an institution known for producing the country’s most influential creative thinkers.

Beyond his visual artistry, Sean is a dedicated performer who contributes to the rich musical heritage of his hometown as a tenor for the renowned Angono Chorale Ensemble.

This involvement in one of the most famous choirs in the region highlights his versatility and deep-seated commitment to the various facets of Filipino culture.

Deeply integrated into the local creative community, he is also an active member of the Grupo Sabado Art Group.

His commitment to his craft is evidenced by his extensive exhibition history, which includes featured showcases at the renowned Blanco Art Gallery and nearly a dozen participations in the SM Angono Art Walk.

A significant milestone in his career occurred in 2021 when he secured First Place in the SM Angono Art Calendar Contest, leading to his winning masterpiece being featured in the official 2022 calendar.

This achievement was followed by his selection as a featured artist for the Rebisco Designer Cans Project, a high-profile initiative that celebrates young Filipino creativity by bringing fine art into the daily lives of the public through functional design.

Rooted in the rich heritage of Angono’s legendary masters while embracing the contemporary perspectives of his generation, Sean Winston Intalan Ulang represents the future of Filipino visual and performing arts.

His work serves as a bridge between tradition and modern expression, characterized by a vision that is both culturally grounded and forward-looking as he continues to contribute to the enduring legacy of Philippine excellence.

A proud son of the Art Capital of the Philippines—Angono, Rizal—Sean Winston Ulang began his musical journey at the age of five, performing in school competitions. A standout moment was his heartfelt performance of Sa Ugoy ng Duyan by Lucio D. San Pedro during the Little Mr. and Ms. Angono 2011, where he was awarded First Runner-Up.

Sean is an alumnus of the Regional Lead School for the Arts in Angono, where he studied both Visual Arts and Music - Voice. His passion for music deepened in senior high school through his involvement with the Luwal Sining Pagganap Vocal Ensemble under the direction of Mr. Jowin Panizal. With the ensemble, he refined his vocal technique, developed his choral abilities, and had the opportunity to compete in various competitions and perform with other esteemed choirs in Rizal.

Currently, Sean sings Tenor with the Angono Chorale Ensemble, led by Maestra Editha C. Fuentes. Through this ensemble, he continues to dedicate his musical talents to serving the Lord and uplifting his community.

Though widely known for his background in the visual arts, his love for music has always been equally strong. Through song, he honors his cultural roots, expresses his faith, and contributes to the rich artistic legacy of his hometown.

Mula sa Pamahalaang Bayan ng Angono, Rizal na pinangungunahan ng Mag-Amang Magkasama sa Programa, Mayora Jeri Mae Calderon at Vice Mayor Gerry V. Calderon, at ng Angono Tourism Office sa pangunguna ni Bb. Tracy Ann P. Vicente, ikinalulugod po naming inihahandog maski sa maliit na pamamaraang ito na ipakilala at i-bida ang mga na mula noon hanggang ngayon ay nagbigay at patuloy na nagbibigay karangalan sa ating munting bayan.

Hangad po namin na sa munting proyekto na ito at sa mga susunod pa ay mapag-igting ang pagkilala sa mga huwarang alagad ng sining sa musika sa Kabisera ng Sining at Kultura ng Pilipinas.

This is my Lola Tess, a true mananahi whose hands have stitched not just clothes but stories, memories, and love. Surrounded by colorful threads and her old sewing machine, she reminds me of the strength and creativity passed down through generations.

Through her I’ve come to see how pagtatahi is more than a craft. It’s part of our heritage. Something to be proud of. Something to pass on.
