Look:The 323rd Naval Squadron Reserve (NSR), under the leadership of its CMAA CPO EDEL P AMARANTE PN(RES), together with Naval Reservists and the Commander of the 32nd Naval Group Reserve, LCDR IAN H SALONGSONGAN, PN(RES), conducted a series of official visits in the Municipality of San Jose, Occidental Mindoro to strengthen coordination and partnership with key local government and security stakeholders.

The activity commenced with a courtesy call to the Municipal Mayor of San Jose, Mayor Rey C. Ladaga. During the meeting, discussions focused on the potential support, roles, and activities of Naval Reservists in line with the programs and initiatives of the Local Government Unit (LGU). Both parties emphasized the importance of collaboration in promoting peace, security, disaster preparedness, and community development within the municipality.

Following the courtesy call, the delegation proceeded to the San Jose Municipal Police Station, headed by PLTCOL Ariel Roldan. As a force multiplier and an active member of the Local Peace and Order Council, the 323rd NSR expressed its commitment to strengthening coordination and cooperation with the Philippine National Police (PNP) and other security counterparts to enhance peacekeeping and public safety efforts.

The activity concluded with a visit to the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO), headed by Ms. Iny Lourdes S. Peroy. The meeting highlighted discussions on future environmental programs and activities, wherein the Naval Reservists can actively participate and contribute, particularly in environmental protection, conservation efforts, and sustainability initiatives within the municipality.

323rd NSR Attended 1st Flag Ceremony of the Year.

As part of the mandate of the 323rd Naval Squadron Reserve, the Reserve Enlisted Personnel, under the leadership of CPO Edel P. Amarante PN(Res), Chief Master-At-Arms, actively participated in the first flag ceremony for the New Year held at the Barangay Hall of Barangay Bubog, San Jose, Occidental Mindoro.

The attendance of the reservists demonstrated their continued commitment to civic responsibility, patriotism, and support to local government units. The activity strengthened coordination between the naval reservists and the barangay officials, while also fostering a sense of unity, discipline, and respect for national symbols at the community level.

TINGNAN| Nakiisa ang 323rd Naval Squadron Reserve sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni CPO Edel P. Amarante PN(Res), Chief Master At Arms (CMAA) sa pagdiriwang ng ika-127 Anibersaryo ng Araw ng Kalayaan na idinaos sa bayan ng San Jose, Occidental Mindoro. Ang makabayang selebrasyon ay isinagawa sa bisa ng inisyatibo ng Lokal na Pamahalaan ng San Jose sa pangunguna ni Mayor Rey Cajayon Ladaga , at iba pang ahensya ng pamahalaan.

Bahagi ng programa ang pagtataas ng watawat, pag-aalay ng bulaklak sa bantayog ng mga bayani, at mga makabayang pagtatanghal na nagbibigay-pugay sa sakripisyo ng mga naunang henerasyon para sa kalayaan ng bansa.

Kasama sa mga lumahok sa makasaysayang okasyon ang mga personnel mula sa Philippine Coast Guard, Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Philippine Army(PA), Mga Mason, mga g**o, estudyante, at iba pang mga kinatawan ng iba’t ibang sektor ng lipunan.

Ang paggunita sa Araw ng Kalayaan ay paalala ng diwang makabayan at pagkakaisa ng sambayanang Pilipino. Sa pamamagitan ng aktibong partisipasyon ng mga ahensya ng gobyerno at mamamayan, muling naipadama ang di-matitinag na paninindigan para sa kasarinlan, katarungan, at kapayapaan.

TINGNAN| Aktibong lumahok ang 323rd Naval Squadron Reserve sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni CPO Edel P. Amarante PN(Res), Chief Master At Arms (CMAA) sa matagumpay na pagsasagawa ng 2nd Quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) na ginanap sa Pedro T. Mendiola Sr. Memorial National High School. Ang naturang aktibidad ay isinakatuparan sa pakikipagtulungan ng Lokal na Pamahalaan ng San Jose sa pangunguna ni Mayor Rey Cajayon Ladaga at sa pangunguna ng Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO).

Kasama sa mga tumugon at nakiisa sa drill ang mga kinatawan mula sa Philippine Coast Guard, Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Philippine National Police (PNP), Phillippine Army(PA), Boy Scouts of the Philippines, Philippine Red Cross, at iba pang mga ahensyang may kaugnayan sa pagtugon sa kalamidad.

Isinasagawa ang NSED ng apat (4) na beses kada taon bilang bahagi ng patuloy na kampanya ng pamahalaan upang mapalakas ang kahandaan ng bawat mamamayan sa harap ng panganib ng lindol, lalo na’t ang Pilipinas ay matatagpuan sa Pacific Ring of Fireβ€”isang lugar na aktibo sa mga lindol at pagsabog ng bulkan.

Sa pamamagitan ng mga aktibidad na tulad nito, mas pinagtitibay ang koordinasyon ng mga ahensyang pangseguridad, pangkalusugan, at sibiko upang matiyak ang mabilis at epektibong pagtugon sakaling dumating ang tunay na sakuna.

The 323rd Naval Squadron Reserve (NSR) actively participated in the 115th Founding Anniversary of the Municipality of San Jose, Occidental Mindoro, held from April 22 to May 1, 2025. In support of the municipal government, the unit provided vital augmentation by serving as part of the crowd control and area security team throughout the 10-day celebration. Working in close coordination with the Philippine National Police (PNP), Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), and other concerned agencies, the reservists were strategically deployed to ensure the safety, peace, and order of major activities, including the opening and closing programs, civic-military parades, nightly concerts, and public gatherings.

The deployment was led by Chief Petty Officer Edel P. Amarante PN(Res), Chief Master At Arms (CMAA) of the 323rd NSR, who oversaw the operations and coordination with local security forces. A dedicated team of reservists conducted patrols and maintained visibility in key event areas such as the municipal plaza, parade routes, and concert venues. Their role was crucial in assisting with the management of large crowds and in upholding public safety protocols, contributing to the overall success of the festivities. The presence of the 323rd NSR not only strengthened inter-agency collaboration but also demonstrated the unit’s continued commitment to civic duty, community service, and peacekeeping efforts. Their contribution was well-received by local officials and the public, reflecting the professionalism, discipline, and readiness of the Naval Reserve Force.
