Alleluia! Christ is risen!

We invite everyone to our World CLC Day celebration on April 13, 2024 (Saturday) 9AM at The Hive, Arete, Ateneo de Manila.

It will be a great opportunity for us to gather and deepen our CLC vocation by “Creating Paths for Hope”.

The schedule will be
9:00-9:30AM - Registration, Welcome Remarks and Community Roll-call
9:30-10:00AM - Input on Theme and Contemplation on the Annunciation
10:30-11:00AM - Small group sharing & “creative” presentation of Paths for Hope
11:00-12:00NN - Mass and Commitment Rites (Fr Ody NCR EA)
12:00-1:00PM - Community Potluck lunch
1:00-2:30PM - Optional: Arete Museum Guided tour (Limited Slots)

We are also excited that Baguio CLC will join us virtually in our celebration.

Dear CLCers,

Peace of Christ!
Let’s celebrate World CLC Day and 500 years of Christianity in the Philippines with “Gifted to Give” on March 27, 2021 Saturday at 2PM (via Zoom).

This will be a good opportunity for us to recognize the various gifts we have received as CLC members and communities. Fr. Tony de Castro, SJ will give a talk on the arrival of Christianity in the Philippines. Fr. Nono Levosada, SJ will celebrate the anticipated Palm Sunday Mass at 5 PM.

To prepare for this celebration, may we ask you to
1. Make your own palaspas and have it blessed during our holy mass.
2. Send your local CLC community’s response (in 2 or 3 Phrases/bullet points) to the question: “As Philippines celebrate 500 years of Christianity and one year after the Pandemic, what are the gifts/blessings received by your community”. You may also want to send a picture of your community. Please send responses and pictures by March 25, 2021 to [email protected]. We will use these materials during the roll call of communities.

This is PTL's special project with MSU-UTC (Marawi State University).

Miss Aleja Alyssa Marmay Macapodi, Head Librarian of MSU-UTC, shared with us her dream of a LIBRARY SPACE -- a space of fun, learning and healing for the students of MSU.

"Now more than ever, we need these spaces for these students. A space where students themselves articulated what they wished to experience in a library. A space where the students themselves conceptualized the design and helped in making it happen."

Maraming salamat sa mga kaibigang nagtiwala at tumulong na maging totoo itong pangarap na ito para sa mga students ng Marawi.
